INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERS DEVELOPMENT Jose Ranjett I. Rosal| May 10, 2024 In education, research has shown that teaching quality and school leadership are the most important factors in raising student achievement. For teachers and school and district leaders to be as effective as possible, they continually expand their knowledge and skills to implement the best educational practices. Educators learn to help students learn at the highest levels. Many people may not be aware of their school system's methods for improving teaching and student learning. Professional development is the only strategy school systems have to strengthen educator's performance levels. Professional development is also the only way educators can learn so that they can better their performance and raise students' achievement. Building Unity for Instructional Development or Project Build is a school project anchored to Project Shine of CID Lights and Project Fame of the District. Professional development and advancement in teaching strategies are the main goals of this project that help to monitor the teacher's growth.
Advancement in teaching is a necessity for all
teachers because of the continuous evolution of technologies that will be of great help in dealing with students. Addressing students' behavior can also be handled efficiently and delicately through this project with the help of LAC sessions that equip the teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to handle frangible cases of student's behavior in school. Pitogo Community High School teachers continue to enhance their knowledge and skills by conducting LAC Sessions that greatly helped in the division of works when participating in division and district project implementation. Teachers can now create newsletters, edit video presentations that can compete with the works of other skilled professional in the field. When it comes to professional development, teachers who are currently enrolled in Master's Education are leading the team in smooth implementation of district and school projects.
