CARSURIN, appointed by several major Carriers, helps to reduce risk of fire

onboard through an internationally recognised program of factory audit and
verification for charcoal and activated carbon producers/suppliers by performing:

• Factory Audit (Primary) – An in-depth supplier qualification

audit performed every three years.

• Factory Audit (Surveillance) – A routine supplier monitoring

audit performed annually in between primary audits.

• Pre-Shipment Inspection – Verification, vanning survey and

sample testing of individual containers by shipment.
Representative samples will be tested in CARSURIN
laboratories in accordance with ASTM and IMDG standards.
 SNI CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT
As a Product Certification Body (LSPro)

Accredited to ISO 17065 by the National Accreditation

Committee (KAN), having the expertise to conduct the entire
process of product conformity assessment, for the scope of
products accredited by the Minister of Industry and registered in
the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia to

• Conduct the product certification process to issue product

certification on using SNI marking,

• Issue the SPPT-SNI accordance with the Government

regulations related to SNI for specific products.
 ENVIRONMENTAL

ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT (ESA)

• Assessment to provide an understanding of a site’s contamination issues; define the human and environmental
health impact of that contamination and determine liability for clean-up operations. Comprises both Phase I & Phase
II assessments.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA)

• Assessment / modelling to evaluate potential sources of contamination and recommend preventative measures in
order to avoid future occurrences.

ENERGY AUDIT
• Study of energy conservation options for various energy sources (electricity, fuel oil, gas) at site. Recommend actions
to reduce energy consumption.

WATER AUDIT
• Study of water efficiency, consumption and discharge. Lab testing of effluents & pollutants. Recommend actions to
minimize discharge water. Pilot-scale testing of water treatment solutions.

SUSTAINABILITY
• Services to enable sustainable management of energy & natural resources.
• CARBON FOOTPRINT – verify Greenhouse Gas emissions and CO2 sinks; mandatory compliance verification;
voluntary reporting.
