bKash Terms and Conditions for Savings Scheme

1. Savings facilities are solely offered by the Savings Scheme Providers/Financial Institutions. Saving
Scheme Provider/Financial Institution includes any Bank, Non-bank financial institution (NBFI),
Microfinance institutions (MFI) and any other financial institution providing a savings facility. The
Savings Scheme Provider/Financial Institution shall be solely responsible for a particular facility.
bKash Limited (“bKash”) is only performing as a collection and disbursement agent of the Savings
Scheme Providers/ Financial Institutions as per Mobile Financial Services Regulation, 2022 (as
amended from time to time).
2. The profit/interest rate on the savings shall be determined solely by the Savings Scheme
Providers/ Financial Institutions.
3. Never share your PIN and OTP to anyone.
4. bKash shall not be responsible if anyone cancels the savings facility using your PIN, OTP and other
information through this platform.
5. bKash may send you app notifications, SMS, phone calls regarding payment of instalments and
other reminders and information relating to the Savings Scheme.
6. If you want to close your savings scheme before the maturity date, you may not receive the full
profit/interest as per your chosen savings scheme. For more information, related to forgone
profit/interest income and other charges (if any) please see the Savings Scheme Provider’s/
Financial Institution’s T&C.
7. If your Customer bKash Account is blocked, please contact the Savings Scheme Provider/ Financial
Institution to encash your savings amount, on the date of maturity or earlier than the date of
maturity. If you fail to pay the deposit/instalment on due date if your Customer bKash Account
being blocked, you will not be entitled to the profit/interest earnings from the Savings Scheme
Provider/Financial Institution related to the relevant deposit amount. bKash shall not be liable in
this regard.
8. You can choose any date from the 1st to 25th of the month to set the savings installment deduction
date during opening of the savings scheme for certain specific Savings Scheme Providers /
Financial Institutions. In that case, the profit/interest amount will vary, depending on the selected
installment deduction date, which will be decided by the Savings Scheme Provider / Financial
Institution.
9. bKash reserves the right to deduct your deposit amount at any time during the deposit/instalment
due date. If you do not have sufficient funds in your Customer bKash Account or your account is
not in active status at the time of attempted debit transaction, the transaction will fail and bKash
will retry to debit your account on the following seven consecutive days. If the debit transaction
fails due to insufficient balance or account status, you may not be entitled to potential
profit/interest for those specific days. If the debit transaction fails at the last attempt it will be
considered as a missed instalment and you will not be entitled to potential profit/interest earnings
from the Savings Scheme Provider/ Financial Institution related to the relevant deposit amount
of such missed installment.
10. If the debit transaction fails due to insufficient balance or account status, you may deposit the
missed installment amount manually at a later date (applicable for certain Savings Scheme
Providers / Financial Institutions). In that case, you profit/interest income for the amount of
missed installment will be calculated from the date of payment of such installment.
11. If an attempt by bKash to deduct your deposit amount from your Customer bKash account fails
due to technical error, bKash will retry the debit transaction in the following seven consecutive
days. You may not be entitled to the potential profit/interest earnings as a result of failed
transaction attempts.
12. By clicking on the ‘ACCEPT’ button, you are providing your consent to share your KYC information
with selected Financial Institution(s) for the purpose of the Savings Scheme.
13. bKash reserves the right to change or amend any of the terms & conditions mentioned above at
any time without prior notice to bKash Customer.
14. These terms and conditions are in addition to the terms and conditions of the Customer KYC Form
executed between you and bKash earlier and the Savings Scheme Provider’s/Financial
Institution’s terms and conditions regarding this Savings Scheme.
