• Compared various optimizers including SigOpt, Optuna and LINDO for the hyperparameter tuning task
• Analysed correlation & performed regression analysis for various cryptocurrencies using historical data

• Backtested multiple trading strategies based on the correlation of returns of BTC, ETH, XRP and DOGE

Plant Disease Identification | Master’s Thesis [Jun 2023 - Present]
• Collaborating with TIH-IITB to develop & improve machine learning models for plant disease detection & classification
• Developed CNN model to classify tomato plant diseases & used GradCAM, t-SNE results for qualitative analysis

• Achieved 98.7% accuracy using Vision Transformer & 95% using DeiT on PlantVillage dataset for tomato plant

Table Extraction from Scanned Documents | Research Project [Jan 2023 - May 2023]
• Improved upon existing SOTA TableNet by increasing the IoU values by 50% using DenseNet121 model as encoder

• Achieved table detection accuracy of 97% using Conditional Random Fields post-processing on Marmot dataset

Speech Sentiment Classification | Course Project [Jan 2023 - May 2023]

• Implemented speech sentiment classification model for 3 sentiments using pre-trained SpeechBrain CRDNN model

• Achieved accuracy of 78% by fine-tuning CRDNN model encoder on the HyperValleyBank dataset in few epochs

Video Denoising | Course Project [Jan 2022 - Apr 2022]

• Implemented low-rank matrix completion algorithm to remove Gaussian, Poisson & Impulsive noise from video

• Improved PSNR by 5% compared to PCA-based denoising, additionally accomplished impulsive noise removal

Image Splicing Forgery Detection | Course Project [Aug 2021 - Oct 2021]
• Successfully implemented SOTA paper to detect & locate image splicing by comparing global & local noise variance

• Achieved 2x computational efficiency down to the pixel-level using K-means to locate the spliced regions of the image
