MBA INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT – COLOGNE BUSINESS SCHOOL

In today's dynamic business landscape, characterized by rapid globalization and constant evolution,
the ability to thrive in international environments is no longer a mere advantage, but a fundamental
requirement for success. Recognizing this early in my professional journey, I developed a strong
passion for international business management. This passion, combined with my unwavering
determination to lead on the global stage, compels me to pursue the MBA International Management
program at Cologne Business School. My intrigue to understand global business management to a
better level has led me to decide to enrol myself in an MBA Program. I want to improve my business
skills, learn about international business, and make smart decisions in today's changing world market.
I am certain that the MBA Program offered by the esteemed Cologne Business School will serve as
the perfect home for my aspirations and provide me the confidence to unravel my potential in the
field.
Having completed my studies at SRM Institute of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of
Technology in Electronics and Communication, I have always strived for both practical inventiveness
and academic achievement. The culmination of my undergraduate experience was the creation of a
cloud- based fire detection mechanism using Arduino. The development of this project honed my
project management skills through tasks such as defining project scope, creating a timeline, and
managing resources. This experience instilled in me the importance of collaboration and planning in
achieving technical goals. The project refined my technical abilities and gave me a deep appreciation
for how management and technology can work together to solve modern problems. I worked as a
Student Organiser on the organising and coordination team for the AARUSH College Tech Fest. As I
oversaw the seamless operation of numerous activities, I made a significant contribution to the event's
success in this capacity. My teamwork, communication, and organisational abilities were refined by
this experience, which I believe will be valuable assets in my professional endeavours.
The internship with AIESEC Ain Shams University Cairo, as a Global Student Volunteer, was a
multifaceted experience. I gained technical skills through your work on solar energy projects,
fostering a sense of responsibility for sustainable solutions. Additionally, I empowered orphan
students with computer science knowledge and Indian culture, showcasing my leadership and
communication skills in fostering multicultural understanding.
My academic and professional journey, characterized by a relentless quest for knowledge and
practical experience in the business sector, has prepared me to embrace the challenges and
opportunities this program presents. Leveraging my expertise in Disruption Management and Spot
Capacity Sourcing in Amazon, I excel in managing complex logistics operations, ensuring smooth and
efficient goods transportation. I have a great analytical background and am skilled at managing
massive amounts of data pertaining to supply chain, transportation, inventory, and warehouse
operations in my role as a transportation logistics specialist. In order to find cost-effective spot
capacity opportunities during peak hours or capacity restrictions, my experience entails regularly
watching trends in the transportation sector. I optimise transportation expenses by negotiating well
with transportation suppliers to get favourable spot rates. In order to ensure ongoing improvements in
logistics efficiency, I am also skilled at monitoring and evaluating critical performance indicators,
such as order fulfilment rates, customer satisfaction ratings, and delivery timeframes. My previous
expertise in Business Development in BYJUS (Think & Learn Pvt Ltd) included full customer
lifecycle management, from lead generation and sales to service, upselling/cross-selling, retention,
and renewals. I'm an expert at lead conversion, using CRM systems to develop leads, explain the
value of my products, and complete deals while fostering connections with clients. I also thrive at
making sure that client onboarding, delivery, and support go well while exhibiting cultural awareness
and offering top-notch service.
However, in my current role in Amazon my expertise mostly lies in disruption management and spot
capacity sourcing, where managing complex logistics operations, leveraging data analysis to optimize
transportation costs, negotiate favourable rates, and monitor key performance indicators to ensure
efficient and timely deliveries. Further as I got more eager to learn about this domain, I realised a gap
exists in strategic planning and decision-making skills which is essential for me to further myself in
this domain. While I am adept at my current role in transportation logistics, I'm eager to broaden my
horizons and explore the more intricate and leadership-oriented aspects of business management. This
includes delving deeper into areas like financial control, operational optimization, sales and
sustainable supply chain management, and understanding the economic landscape surrounding these
functions. Hence, in light of all these factors, I feel the need to pursue MBA in International
Management which will equip me with the necessary skills to make data-driven decisions,
optimization of processes, navigate the complications of global business and lead teams in achieving
organizational goals.
I aspire to be in a top position in this domain which would require me to be capable of managing
global business with complexities in regulations. Cologne Business School’s MBA in International
Management aligns with my goals for a successful career in this international field. The program's
multicultural environment and focus on data-driven decision making will leverage my existing
analytical skills and adaptability. By honing my communication and teamwork abilities – valued in
German business culture – I'll be prepared to excel in collaborative settings. This program, combining
academic rigor with international exposure, positions me to become a future leader in the ever-
evolving world of International Management in Germany. The German focus on efficiency and
collaboration perfectly aligns with my own work style, and I'm confident that the program's
