— Enclosure 20 kW ST
— Enclosure 20 kW MT
— Enclosure 20 kW ST 2LVD 5U
— Enclosure AC 20 kW ST OO Type 1
— The climate system uses a Heat Exchanger (HEX) to ensure long life and low
operational cost.
— For Enclosure 6150 Air Conditioner, the climate system additionally uses an
air conditioner and an optional heater for battery compartment.
• Enclosure 8 kW ST: 14 U
• Enclosure 20 kW ST: 8 U
• Enclosure 20 kW MT: 12 U
• Enclosure AC 20 kW ST OO Type 1: 13 U
The equipment must be capable of handling the temperatures and air quality
offered by the air cooling system of the Enclosure.
• 200–240 V AC
— The Enclosure (excluding the AC or DC full 19-inch rack variant) has room for
two lead-acid battery strings with a maximum capacity of 48 V, 210 Ah per
string. The AC full 19-inch rack variant supports up to four 4 U 19-inch
lithium-ion battery units. A single enclosure can provide good power and
battery backup performance.

2.2.11 SAU 02 01
The Support Alarm Unit (SAU) is an alarm connection panel that connects
external alarms and transmission cables through the Overvoltage Protector
(OVP). The external equipment is connected to the SAU through an OVP-ALM8.
The SAU monitors the pair cable to see whether it is a closed loop or an open
loop. The alarm is then reported to ESC 03 01 or SCU 09 01.
Note: If a configuration uses more than four external alarms through OVP-
ALM8, the configuration needs an SAU as well.

2.2.12 Heater
The enclosure can be equipped with an equipment heater to keep the equipment
above 0°C in climates where the ambient temperature is low. The enclosure can
also be equipped with a battery heater to keep the batteries warm in low
ambient temperature. The heater is delivered with connection cables and
installation materials.
Enclosure 6150 AC Full 19-inch Rack and DC Full 19-inch Rack each support up
to two equipment heaters. The other enclosure variants support a maximum of
one equipment heater and one battery heater. Each enclosure can be installed
with one heater MCB, and multiple heaters share the same MCB. The MCB rating
depends on the type and quantity of the heaters installed in the enclosure, as
shown in Table 1.

that support the EU cylinder lock. Figure 32 shows an example of an EU cylinder
lock. EU cylinder locks are not provided by Ericsson.
Ge14069A
For enclosures with lower R-states, the entire door lock needs to be replaced with
a new one for accommodating an EU cylinder lock. For instructions on how to
replace the door lock and the cylinder lock, see Replace Internal Parts.

Power system features are defined and controlled by the power system controller.
This functionality is applicable for configurations containing an ESC or SCU.
For more information on the controller, see Power System Controller User Guide.
Users have access to history alarm logs and current logs. The history alarm logs
include alarm type, start time, and end time, while the current logs only include
alarm type and start time. The logs are displayed in chronological order of start
time. The latest 1000 history alarm logs can be saved at most.

7 Climate System
When the heat exchanger is working, the internal circulation fan starts and stops
at preset temperature points (the default start temperature is 15°C and the
default stop temperature is 5°C) and keeps running and adjusting the speed
according to the ambient temperature inside the cabinet. The external circulation
fan starts and stops at preset temperature points (the default start temperature
is 35°C and the default stop temperature is 30°C). When running, the external
circulation fan adjusts its speed according to the ambient temperature inside the
cabinet. The air flow path is shown in Figure 75, Figure 76, and Figure 77.
The equipment compartment that HEX is cooling is separated from the battery
compartment. The battery compartment uses natural cooling mode. The
hydrogen discharge holes are reserved on the cabinet door and at the bottom of
the cabinet floor, which help exhaust emissions generated by the working
battery. For Enclosure 20 kW Air Conditioner, the battery compartment uses an
air conditioner for cooling.
In case of fan failure, an alarm signal is sent to the fan control board for alarm
monitoring.

— Forced ventilation: When the compressor does not have cooling capacity
(including compressor failure, power failure), the temperature inside the
cabinet is higher than the startup point (emergency point + 5) of the
ventilation fan. When the temperature inside the cabinet is 3°C higher than
that outside the cabinet, the ventilation fan starts.
