Project Title: On-Line Forward Auction at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL)

Objectives of the week:

1. Getting a brief about the company including the terms and conditions for sale and
auction from plants and units of SAIL.
2. Understanding the process of online auction at Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP).

Work Done/Objectives Achieved:

1. Understood multiple terminologies used in these online auctions.
2. Created a process flowchart of forward auction at RSP for better understanding.
3. Observed a live auction taking place whilst my internship.

Plan/Objectives for next week:

1. A thorough study of a file containing the whole process of the online forward auction
which took place on 07/05/2024 at RSP for 4000 MT of pig iron.
