Egycover 360

Law density insulating cover powder used to prevent heat loss during casting.

Product Description
Free flowing powder, with low density used to control temperature loss of the molten
metal during casting in ladle and tundish.

Functions
Egycover 360 limits the heat loss from the metal through the top of ladle and the surface
of tundish improving pouring temperature and process control.

Application Method
Egycover 360is normally added to the ladle and tundish surface metal immediately after
taping.
Egycover 360is simply thrown onto molten metal surface.

Package
Egycover 360 is supplied in 5 KG plastic bags, inside jumbo bag rapped on wooden
pallets.
Additional packing options available up on request.
Storage & shelf life
Egycover 360 has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in normal temperature and closed
shaded dry area in undamaged original packing.
Care should be taken to prevent moisture pick-up during storage of Egycover 360
especially after containers have been opened.
