Timeline About : Laura’s father successful hunt

equipment and went to the forest
and tracked animal tracks in the
forest.

Laura's father finds and chases a


moose and manages to catch and kill
it.

Laura's father brought the deer


home and the Ingalls Family valued
every part of the deer they hunted
and made the most of it.

Laura and Mary came out of their


small house to explore the
surrounding forest and they walked
among the trees and observed
different types of trees and plants.

Laura and Mary find animal tracks in


the snow and try to identify them
and they notice small footprints that
may belong to squirrels and large
tracks that may belong to a bear.

Laura and Mary stopped to observe


the animals moving around them,
such as birds and squirrels and they
were amazed by the beauty of the
nature around them and promised
to come back to explore the forest
another time.

The Ingalls family spent Christmas


Eve in their little house in the woods
and they chose a cedar for their
Christmas tree and decorated it with
simple decorations.

Each family member makes gifts with


their own hands to give each other.
Laura's mother, Caroline, cooks
delicious dishes for Christmas Eve,
including roasts and hors d'oeuvres.

The Ingalls family gather around the


dinner table and share a moment of
togetherness, over a delicious meal.

They exchange gifts and surprise


each other.

The Ingalls thank them for the


blessings of Christmas and are
grateful for their life together in the
woods.

Christmas Eve ends with the warmth


and joy of the Ingalls family.
