In general, software is a set of instructions or programs designed

Software allows computers to process data, manage resources,
and provide output according to user needs.

System Software: Manages hardware Application Software: Programs that perform
resources and provides basic services for specific tasks for a user, such as word
application software. Examples are operating processors, office applications, graphic
systems such as Windows, macOS, and design software, and games.
