Rotating Equipment Engineer [ Technical Department]
Key Achievements:
• Led Root Cause Analysis for rotating equipment incidents in conjunction with other departments to
provide corrective actions. Major investigation, Root cause analysis and equipment upgrade was done
such as:
o Syn Gas compressor Dry gas seal repetitive failure investigation for Siemens compressor and change the manufacture to
John crane from Eagle Burgmann.
o Investigate and upgrade the water intake pumping system with more reliable pumps.
o Investigate and upgrade the repetitive failure of process cooling water pump coupling.
o Investigate and upgrade the instrument Air system contamination with oil.
o Investigate the Emergency diesel generator failure.
o Investigate the Chronic vibration issue in the Boiler feed water turbine (dresser rand)
o Upgrade the recovery column pumps.
o Participate in the Plant debottlenecking team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Local Reliability Team (LRT) to provide a proactive forum to identify immediate, or possible future issues that may
impact on the ability to maintain continuous reliable operations.
• Identified reliability risks that could impact plant and business plan delivery.
• Provide engineering solutions for vulnerability and reliability issues according to applicable codes, standards and engineering
practices.
• Plan and coordinate with other business functions the effective implementation of the mechanical activities to guarantee
quality and timely deliverables.
• Provide technical advice to maintenance and operation teams for arising Rotating equipment, static equipment, mechanical
packages and piping anomalies to efficiently overcome the abnormal situation in a timely manner.

• Asses Mechanical equipment Mechanical Integrity via inspection and operation data analysis according to original equipment
manufacturer (OEM) specifications, applicable codes and standards.
• Develop and operate Condition Monitoring program, continuously improve the effectiveness of condition monitoring program

o Overhaul maintenance for SUNDYNE pump. (LMV 311, LMV 322)
o Overhaul maintenance for Air Coolers (fixed & variable blades) (COFIMCO)
o Overhaul maintenance for BFW multistage centrifugal pump (6 Stages) (Ingrsoll Dresser Rand)
• Participate in complete Shutdown at MIDOR Refinery in September 2015 with Major Jobs:
o Overhaul maintenance for multistage centrifugal compressor (7 stages) (MITSUBISHSI)
o Overhaul maintenance for Compressor Gear Box (LUFKIN)
o Overhaul maintenance for Vertical Pumps (IDP)
