1.) In your own words, why is it important to defend your Filipino citizenship?
- For me it is important because it ensures your strong connection to the Philippines
and all that it represents. It’s not just a legal status, its an integral part of your identity
and heritage.

2.) In essence, what is the connection of citizenship to the process of nation-

building?
- citizenship is the foundation upon which the entire process of nation-building rests. It
not only provides individuals with legal status but also binds them together in a
collective identity, promotes civic engagement, drives economic and social
development, and shapes the future of the nation. Citizenship is, therefore, a
cornerstone of any nation's growth, stability, and prosperity.
