Instructions to the Candidate
Candidate is required to bring the documents and comply with instructions mentioned below:
i) Admit Card.
ii) Original Proof of identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card etc.).
• Copy of email from rectt@rites.com allowing candidate to bring own scribe (Only applicable for PwBD candidates). Original
identity proof of scribe along with one photocopy needs to be produced on the day of examination.
• PwBD candidates need to bring PwBD certificate in the format prescribed by the Govt. of India with a self-attested copy of the
same.
• Bring Blue/Black Ball Pen. They may use an H.B. Pencil and Eraser for rough work.
• Candidate can take with him/her the question booklet and carbon copy of the OMR answer sheet after the test is over.
• Candidate will not be allowed to leave the test centre before the closure of the test.
• Candidates belonging to PwD category who have opted for scribe needs to bring disability certificate along with one photocopy.
• The PwBD candidates in the category of Blindness, Locomotor Disability (Both Arms affected-BA) and Cerebral Palsy are allowed
Compensatory Time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination. In case of other PwBD categories, this facility is provided on
production of a certificate to the effect that the person concerned has physical limitation to write from the Chief Medical Officer/Civil
Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution as per the prescribed proforma.
• The Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) in the categories of Blindness, Locomotor Disability (Both Arms affected-BA)
and Cerebral Palsy are allowed the facility of scribe, if desired by the person. In case of other category of Persons with Benchmark
Disabilities as defined under section 2 (r) of the RPWD Act, 2016, the facility of scribe is allowed to such candidates on production of a
certificate to the effect that the person concerned has physical limitation to write and scribe is essential to write examination on
behalf, from the Chief Medical Officer/ Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care institution in the prescribed
proforma. They are allowed Compensatory Time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination.
• Candidates requiring scribe shall have to submit scribe declaration form (original) and a copy of photo ID card of scribe along
with admit card to the invigilator atleast 30 minutes prior to commencement of examination.
• Candidate must report at the examination venue 15 minutes before the reporting time.
• Mobile Phones, Calculator, Watch, any kind of transmitter/receiver or any other such electronic devices, text book, notes, scales,
logarithmic tables, electronic gadget etc. inside the Examination Hall is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Candidates have to make their own
arrangement to keep these items out of the Examination Hall at their own risk. RITES shall not be responsible for any loss of personal
belongings.
• No request for change of date, time and venue of written test shall be entertained. Kindly check the schedule uploaded on the
RITES website.
• Candidates must match the schedule uploaded on RITES website with details mentioned on the admit card. In case of any
discrepancy, with selection schedule mentioned on RITES website, please contact immediately on rectt@rites.com.
Note:
i) Shortlisting of your name for the above selection is provisional and is based on the details of age, qualification, category, experience etc filled
in by you in the application. In case you fail to prove your age, possession of the required qualification, category, and experience etc. your
candidature will be cancelled, at any stage of the selection. Mere appearing or qualifying in the selection does not confer any right on the
applicant for claiming selection.
ii) Only those candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria should appear in the selection. They must ensure that they fulfil the advertised criteria
of age, qualification (Degree recognized by UGC/AICTE, as applicable), Category (wherever applicable), etc and bring relevant
documents/certificates in support thereof. If at any stage, it is found that candidate is not eligible for the post, his/her candidature will be summarily
rejected.
iii) Provisional Answer Key will be uploaded on RITES website post-completion of written examination and window for submission of objection
will be provided. Candidates need to submit objections to any question/answer during the objection window only. Post-closure of window, no such
request will be entertained.
iv) Any update related to further round of selection process will be displayed only on the Company’s website www.rites.com. Therefore,
applicants are advised to keep checking the Company’s website for any update

Special Instructions pertaining to COVID-19:

i) Thermal Screening of all candidates shall be done at the venue.
ii) Candidates must have Arogya Setu app installed on their phone. Candidates with status "High risk of infection" on Aorgya Setu shall be
seated separately.
iii) Wearing of mask/ face cover is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates without mask/ face cover will not be allowed entry into the venue.
iv) Candidates, however, will have to remove their masks for verification, whenever required by the examination functionaries.
v) Candidates are advised to carry their own hand sanitizer in small bottle (transparent).
vi) Candidates must follow norms of "social distancing" as well as "personal hygiene" inside the examination hall/ room as well as in the
premises of the Venue as per latest Govt. guidelines.
vii) Please note that no-one will be denied permission to appear the examination, until he/she violates the Covid-19 directives/advisories of
government (Central/State) applicable on the day of exam and the instructions mentioned in the call letter.
viii) Carrying of Mobile or any other electronic device shall not be allowed in the examination room.
