Tet holiday decorations in many families. Themes of Dong Ho paintings vary from depicting daily life and Vietnamese
traditional value to showing famous historical figures. Paper and colour used to create Dong Ho paintings come from
natural materials. Dong Ho craftsmen produce their own colour powder by using different types of leaves, flowers and
eggshells... Nowadays, there are only a handful of families continuing to make Dong Ho paintings. However, each year,
Dong Ho village still attracts tourists who want to buy souvenirs or learn more about this unique craft.
