‘WATER TREATMENT

TE 100
DESCRIPTION
The apparatus includes:
• Two small and two large ion exchange columns containing either cationic or
anionic resins thus allowing the operator to work with different quantities and
types of resin.
• Four feed tanks in transparent PVC complete with stopcocks and drain valves:
- 60 I for the untreated solution
-40 I for the supply of dematerialized washing water or for use as a holding tank
for de-mineralized or desalinized water
- 5 Ito hold sulphuric acid or sodium chloride for regeneration
- 5 Ito hold caustic soda for regeneration.
• One probe with temperature correction for measuring conductivity at two
independent points in the system.
• Conductivity meter with liquid crystal display (0-2000iiS).
• Two flow meters positioned in the ion exchange feed circuit (5-60 I/h and 2.5-
25 I/h).
• Magnetic-drive centrifugal feed pump (1300 I/h at 3 m water pressure).
• Magnetically operated float level detector.
