Tesema Teshome Water Works Contractor (WWC-1) is a company established in


2012 E.C to provides Water work construction including but not limited to Irrigation
structures & Drainage, water supply schemes & Sewer line construction, Water well
boring, Sanitary and industrial installations, operations and maintenance. Contracting,
facilities management & construction management services for public, industrial,
institutional & commercial businesses in the country of Ethiopia.

Beyond the business of delivering customer satisfaction, Tesema Teshome Water


Works Contractor is a company with a strong sense of values, free from fraud,
corruption and complaints. Our company care about our clients and our community. We
build a close and supportive relationship with all members, fostering a positive work
environment where each member (stakeholders) can reach their full potential. We support
our community through hard workings.

Establishment of This Company Dates back to 2012 E.C as a solepropriatorship with


owning the following Tools and equipment used in construction works of water.

1. Concrete mixer-500 L 1 in number


2. Dewatering pump 1in number
3. Wrenches of different sizes 7 in number.
4. Pipe threader of different sizes
5. Arc welding machine 160W 1 in number
6. Hand Jumper compactor
7. Vibrator

These Tools are Company Assets, accounts for 720,000.00 ETB and Initial Capital
and by now the company has the Total asset of 12,000,000.00 ETB including fixed

Weyessa is passionate person about Construction activities
alleviating problems of Rural and Urban communities and for
his clients. I Studied Hydraulic and Water Resources
Engineering at Arba Minch University to get my first degree.
From there I worked full time in Government office, at
various Positions.
During, my stay in office, I got chances to work with
Programs implemented by Government and Donors, Like
Rural, WaSH Program, UAP (Universal Access Plan), LIG,
One WaSH and many other programs and contractors. Then
when I was in Woreda Water Offices, I participated as a
team leader on the study and design of different Water
supply project, which includes a 320M Deep well drilling
works and 18500m pipelines Water supply project.
Recently, I established my own Company engaged on water
related constructions. I implement my experiences earned
within the last one decade in government office.Again in my
company named Tesema Teshome Water Works
Contractor. .

Tesema Teshome Water Works Contractor will work in a decentralized fashion with client-

Mobilization Schedule
In accordance with the Particular Conditions, Sub-Clause 4.1, the Contractor carry out
mobilization to Site when the Engineer gives consent that appropriate measures are in place to
address environmental and social risks and impacts, which at a minimum shall include applying
the Management Strategies and Implementation Plans (MSIPs) and Code of Conduct for
Contractor’s Personnel, submitted as part of the Bid and agreed as part of the Contract

Immediately after the site hand over mobilization of resources, the basic equipment’s such as
mixers, formworks, dump trucks, etc. key personals for site administration, site will start with
the setting out and confirming of bench marks based on the given construction drawing and
design. On the other hand locating and testing of quarries for local materials and purchase and

supply of materials for the main project such as cement, sand, reinforcement bar, Steel
Structures, etc… would start as per the contract agreement.

Work’s procedure:

• Immediately after site take over, purchase and supply of construction materials for the
Project such as cement, sand aggregate, reinforcement bar, stone for masonry and hard
core, etc will be started.
• The necessary construction & and support service personnel who are essential for the
project would be assigned. The project manager and his immediate subordinates shall be
of a high caliber with a professional experience in the construction industry which by
large would be in the construction of similar works.
• All the necessary equipment’s will be made available in good numbers as to suit the scale
of operation. Supply of a small hand tools and carpenters, masons, bar benders, welders,
plasters, etc… will be as per the demand of the work force and the nature of the work.
• All-important equipment’s will be mobilized on time

Construction Methodology and Approach


As far as constructions of structures (source works, Excavation, Masonry, concrete, RC
Bars, ,Roofing work ,Plastering Finishing Works, other works, etc.) concerned, well-organized
and equipped construction crew will be formed for the project site as shown in table----below.
This construction crew will comprise skilled and semi-skilled staffs deployed on the project

The quality of local construction materials will be tested and approved in line with the
specification requirements prior to commencing the production. For other imported structural
construction materials, the quality and standard test results will be obtained from concerned
agencies and submitted to the consulting Engineer for approval.

The laying out of structures and control of elevations and dimensions will be made by the project
survey team under close monitoring and approval of the resident supervisory team of the
consultant. Maximum precaution will be taken for maintaining the specified tolerable limits.

The Quality of local construction materials will be tested and approved in line with the
requirements of the specifications prior to commencing the production. For other imported
structural construction materials, the quality and standard test results will be obtained from
concerned agencies and submitted to the Consulting Engineer for its approval.

In the project area about three months of the year are expected to be rainy season. To overcome

completed within the framework of the project completion period.
