materials, diffuse/specular/metallic reflection, transmission/refraction, simple geometric
objects, translation/rotation/scaling, shading
BLENDER CONCEPTS:
Should be faniliar with the Blender tools for...
Know how to add Cubes, UV Spheres, Cylinders, Cones, Planes, Circles, Landscapes, and
Archimesh main objects (rooms, doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, stairs), and Archimesh
decorative objects (lights, books, curtains, and shades)
Can create Archimesh objects, paths, scale, move, rotate, edit, extrude, apply array (including
using empties), boolean, and subdivide modifiers, and can create loop cuts,
Can use Blender's Z and shift-S menus to change rendering options and to move objects and
the 3D cursor
Can perform simple animation of objects or the camera (translating, rotating, zooming in/out of
the camera)
CODING SECTION
Animate a scene showing an Archimesh room with a note on one wall -- camera slowly pans
room,
and zooms in on note to show the message of the animation (like the message in the Stop
Smoking movie)
Dynamic fence with grass (does NOT have to show proximity element -- less grass near the
fence)
