FORMAT: The format is as on the midterm, 30 questions for 75 points and

1 coding question (choice of three possible questions, defined below)
where you illustrate ray
tracing or 3D motion in Blender

CONCEPTS:
Perspective viewing, orthographic views (front, back, top, bottom, left, right), light and
materials, diffuse/specular/metallic reflection, transmission/refraction, simple geometric
objects, translation/rotation/scaling, shading

BLENDER CONCEPTS:
Should be faniliar with the Blender tools for...

Render engine (screwdriver/wrench), Object properties (square), Modifiers (wrench),

Constraints (lock), Materials (checkered sphere), and Texture (checkerboard)

Know how to add Cubes, UV Spheres, Cylinders, Cones, Planes, Circles, Landscapes, and
Archimesh main objects (rooms, doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, stairs), and Archimesh
decorative objects (lights, books, curtains, and shades)

Be able to add Empties, Images, Lights, and Cameras

Can create Archimesh objects, paths, scale, move, rotate, edit, extrude, apply array (including
using empties), boolean, and subdivide modifiers, and can create loop cuts,

Can create, modify, and shrinkwrap curves

Can use Blender's Z and shift-S menus to change rendering options and to move objects and
the 3D cursor

Can perform simple animation of objects or the camera (translating, rotating, zooming in/out of
the camera)

CODING SECTION
