TITLE: Danfoss PVG32 Relief Valve

Units Involved: All HTH600 Series Harvesters manufactured from March 2004 with new Danfoss PVG32
Relief Valve (WA107903) to following harvester serial numbers:

HTH616 serial number 228082 to 228090

HTH620 serial number 231666 to 231670
HTH622 serial number 232277 to 232 279
HTH622B serial number 622032 to 622073 and
HTH624 serial number 233253 to 233274

SUBJECT: PVG32 relief valve o-ring malfunction

SITUATION: Isolated cases have shown that the top o-ring does not have
enough pre-load. In such cases the PVG 32 pressure adjusting
valve can experience change of pressure setting.
Note; No case of leaking has yet surfaced.

SOLUTION: Recommendation from the manufacturer is to replace the o-rings in all new
Danfoss PVG32 Relief Valves on the valve bank when servicing a failure.

Existing o-ring, NBR 70º shore 1.5 mm thickness x 7.5 mm inside diameter, is
to be replaced with o-ring WA107905, NBR 90º shore 1.5 mm thickness x 7.5
mm inside diameter.

To change o-ring, take out retaining circlip (size 11mm for bores). Wind out
the hexagon socket pressure set screw with an Allen key and replace the
o-ring.

O-rings to be changed as they fail.
Allowable labour is 3 hours maximum and claims are to be submitted within 30 days of the
completion of the repair. This claim is to be accompanied by a campaign registration form,
(attached).
