TMS3713 Assessment 3 2024

The purpose of this assignment is to give students the opportunity to practise lesson
plan development before/during their practical teaching. If you require feedback on
lesson plan development before practice teaching, you need to submit this
assignment several weeks before you start your practicals so that there is enough
time available to mark it and give feedback. More information on lesson planning is
found in Unit 3.

You have to design one lesson plan for Grade 10 Term 1 GEOGRAPHICAL SKILLS AND
TECHNIQUES: Using Atlases. Below your lesson plan, please attach an assessment
and its marking tool (memorandum, checklist, rubric etc). You must use the below
lesson plan template which has all the required information (see rubric), you may add
more spaces, especially for activities. Your lesson must indicate creativity and student
centredness.

YOU NEED TO PLAN YOUR OWN LESSON SO THAT WE CAN DETERMINE IF

YOU HAVE ATTAINED THIS IMPORTANT SKILL.

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR LESSON PLAN MAY NOT BE COPIED FROM

TEXTBOOKS OR PLANNING DONE BY TEACHERS. YOU MAY ALSO NOT COPY
FROM INTERNET SOURCES. THIS IS PLAGIARISM AND A STUDENT WHO IS
GUILTY OF DOING THIS WILL BE REPORTED, WHICH MAY RESULT IN
SUSPENSION. UNISA USES SOFTWARE TO DETECT PLAGIARISM AND IT
WILL BE USED WHERE THERE IS A SUSPICION THAT WORK WAS
PLAGIARISED.
