AMAZING GRACE

1. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,

That saved a wretch like me,

I once was known but now am found, was blind but now I see,

2. I was grace that taught my heart to fear

And grace my fears relive red,

How precious did the grace appear, the hour I first believe?

3. through many dangers, toils and snares

I have already come,

I was grace that brought me safe thus far.

And grace will lead me home.

4. The Lord has promised well to me.

His words made my hope secures,

He will be my shield and portion be, as long as life endures.

5. How sweet the name of Jesus sounds

In a believer’s ears.

It soothes he sorrows, heals wounds and drives away his fear,

6. Must Jesus bear the cross alone,

And all the world go free?

No, there’s across for every one and there’s a cross for me.
