Inspection of Excavation Bottom at Track and
Road – Site Visit dated 07.05.2024
Dear Sirs,

Reference is made to the above-mentioned subject, and the site visit carried
out on 07-05-2024, to inspect the excavation bottom at design level of the
track and road.
The results of the site inspection can be summarized as follows:

• Design Bottom Level, is defined as the level of placement of the


“Prepared Subgrade” and “Base Course” for the Track and
Roads respectively.
Based on the above-mentioned findings, the recommendations can be
summarized as follows:
- Track: 0.5 m replacement then Backfilling can be carried out to reach the
design level.
- Road: Backfilling can be carried out to reach the design level.
The site preparation guidelines shall be followed as per the related
geotechnical report.
