Introduction
This guide will state the necessary steps that enable you to export the ADP update and/or the e-
NP update from MyRA; you receive this as part of your AVCS / ACES weekly ‘Data Delivery’
message from the ChartWorld Server.
Step 1: Please remember that you can find out when a new message has been received in
your MyRA, by checking the ‘Inbox’ icon.
Step 2: Every Thursday, you will receive a ‘Data Delivery’ message, shown in the ‘Data
Deliveries’ table, as you see below.
Step 3: ADP updates and e-NP updates can be exported by clicking the Export button, as
shown below:
Step 6: Prepare the folder structure for storage of ADP and eNP Updates that are
extracted. This should be done only once. If you have created the folder, go to
Step 7
a. Create a folder, on hard drive or on USB drive, that will be accessible from ADP or
e-NP reader software.
b. Create subfolders ‘ADP’ and ‘eNP’. These folders are used for saving ADP and e-NP
update files that are received.
c. Load the latest eChart DVD. Copy the ‘Updates’ folder from the DVD to the ‘eNP’
folder
The ‘Updates’ folder is used for keeping e-NP updates and loading them to the e-
NP reader software.
d. The file and folder structure for storing the ADP updates and eNP updates should
look like the following:
Step 7: Go to the folder that you exported the ADP update to, at Step 5.
Step 9: Right-click on the ADP_YYYY_wkWW.zip file. Using 7zip (or a zip file software
equivalent), please choose ‘Extract files’ and extract the files to the ‘ADP’ folder,
created at Step 6.b
Step 10: Unzip the eNP updates. Right-click on the ENP_YYYY_wkWW.zip file. Using 7zip (or
a zip file software equivalent), please choose ‘Extract files’ and select the folder
‘Updates’, created at Step 6.c
Overwrite the existing files.
Step 11: The e-NP Weekly Update file, with the extension *.enp, has been able to be
exported to the ‘Update’ folder, created at Step 6c. There is no need to unzip it,
because it is not packed in an archive.
Step 12: Please go to the Data Updating Wizard icon on your desktop. Install the ADP
update by following the wizard.
Simply browse to the folder that you unzipped the ADP update to, in Step 4.
Step 13: IMPORTANT: Please remember to copy the files to your ADP Backup PC and also
install the ADP Update on that PC.
Step 15: Please then go to the e-NP reader and use the ‘Get NMs and Permits’ section of
the e-NP reader.
Simply browse to the folder where you saved the e-NP updates.
Step 16: IMPORTANT: Please remember to also copy the files to your e-NP Backup PC and
install the e-NP Update on that PC.
Step 17: Please keep the files on the USB for the following week.
