Details

Following installation of the ADP software and STARTUP Key on 2 PCs, it is required to
Activate on the 2 PCs.

Step 1: If not open already please open LICENCE KEY WIZARD:

Step 2: Once complete you will see the Licence Key Wizard –Start-Up Key Only screen –
click on Next> button:

Step 3: Choose REQUEST AN ACTIVATION KEY:

Step 4: Select MAIN or BACKUP PC and click Next> button

PLEASE NOTE:

• For 1st Computer Activation = “This is my MAIN computer” option should be

selected.
• For 2nd Computer Activation = “This is my BACKUP computer” should be selected.

Step 5: Choose relevant option to send the request:

Step 6: Send the Activation Request:

Directly via email-> see step 6

Save to Text file = send to: adsmail

Save to Text file = save to your email PC and follow

instructions to make the request (see step 5a below)

Step 7: Open text file and follow instructions carefully:

Step 9: You will receive a reply very shortly, please copy and paste the
ACTIVATION KEY:

Step 10: Go Back into LICENCE KEY WIZARD, but this time choose ADD AN ACTIVATION
KEY:

Step 11: Paste the Activation Key from your email and click NEXT:

EXAMPLE ONLY

Step 12: ADP will report the key is installed, please click FINISH and you can begin to use
the ADP software.

IMPORTANT NOTE: According to SOLAS regulations V/19 2.1.4 & 2.1.5 it is mandatory to
install, activate and update the ADP software on at least 2 different (MAIN and BACKUP) PC's
aboard your vessel!
