SESSION
1. All equipment provided by the
contracting party should be safe
and in good working order prior to
arrival of the DJ. The equipment
should be positioned according to
the layout schemes displayed
below.
2. The DJ needs to install his own
equipment and do a sound check
(up to 60 minutes) before the
session starts. The time of the
sound test must be agreed between
the parties.
3. Qualified audio system engineer
must be present at sound check
and during the session to oversee
and answer/rectify any sound or
equipment related issues.
4. Both parties hereby agree that
the warm-up DJ shall not use any of
the DJ's equipment in his/her set,
and musical tempo shall be not
higher than 93BPM.
5. If a laptop DJ is playing right
after the DJ no set up is permitted
during the DJ session, unless prior
agreement.
6. Photographers and video
professionals can take pictures as
long as their presence in the DJ
booth does not interfere with the DJ
performance.

7. The musical content of the
session can be adapted to the type
of event, party or club where it will
take place. The same must be
previously discussed between the
parties. However, the DJ reserves
the right to have the final say on the
musical choices.
8. The duration of the DJ session
cannot be less than 3 hours and
more than 6 hours. It must be
performed in continuous mode,
without interruptions for other DJs
sessions, musicians, dance shows
or animations, unless previously
agreed between the parties.
9. During the session the DJ should
not be interrupted to greet or take
photographs (only if previously
agreed by both parties). Access to
the DJ booth is restricted to the
organization's staff and technical
staff.
10. The DJ session can only be
recorded (audio and video) if there
is prior authorization from the DJ.
11. Failure to comply with the
requirements presented authorizes
the DJ to refuse to perform or
interrupt the agreed session.

There is the possibility to perform in three different configurations: vinyl,

CD players or DJ controller. In the event that the DJ does not bring his
own equipment, below we describe the references of the equipment that
comply with the necessary technical skills.

OPTION A - VINYL

DJ BOOTH REQUIREMENTS
The preferred height for the deck setup is 100cm.
The DJ deck must be at least 3 meters wide by 1 meter deep.
Equipment should be placed on a flat, solid and stable surface, free
from any vibration and movement.
The booth must be installed at the level of the dance floor. The DJ
privileges the proximity to the dancers. The symbiosis between
music, DJ and dancers flows more naturally. If this is not possible,
take into account the following:
Stage area shall be stable and structurally safe (electrical system
earth connected);
Stage covering is mandatory should the DJ’s performance be
outside.
Booth must be draped at the front and sides all the way to the floor, to
hide wiring.
The DJ booth and equipments must have good lighting but no direct
spotlight on the DJ. DJ prefers dimmed atmosphere.
A separate table or raised surface (50-60cm high) is required in order
to accommodate drinks and other belongings. It shall be placed on
one of the sides of the DJ’s position.

OPTION C - DJ CONTROLLER

OBSERVATIONS:
In all configurations the DJ is responsible for bringing the Laptop, the
Laptop Stand, the Reloop Neon MIDI controller and the headphones
Sennheiser HD 25 II.
In the configuration for vinyl records, the DJ will bring the Denon DJ
DS1 converter along with a set of stylus.
In the DJ controller configuration, the DJ can take the Denon MC-6000
MkII controller with him, if it is of interest to all parties.
The DJ will also take with him replacement USB and RCA cables.

THE EVENT SITE SHALL PROVIDE:

Cables suitable for connecting the main sound output and the sound
output for monitors, according to the type of connector of the
equipment outputs to be used. (DJ mixer or DJ controller)

The PA size obviously depends on venue size and layout, however a

high quality, well maintained PA should be supplied, to give good,
clear full range reproduction to all audience areas.
During the soundcheck and performance, the DJ must have full
access to all EQ, crossovers and processing.
Monitors shall be placed at shoulder height on each side of the DJ,
not behind him or on the floor and should not impair the field of view
from the booth.
In the event that it is only possible to place the monitor mono or on
one side, it must be on the right side of the artist.
Monitors must not induce vibrations on the Deck.
Monitors must be in stereo L/R configuration and must not be
distorted, limited or compressed at any stage.
Monitors must be controlled directly via the booth output on the DJ
mixer.
Monitors must be high power Class-D amplified and capable of
delivering at least 130dB SPL.
The system shall also be free of all earth hums and electrical buzzes.

due to force major, they are not achievable, we will always be available to
