Sub.: Announcement of major infrastructural upgrades carried out at St. George’s School
Greetings from St. George’s School! Hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits.
As many of you may have observed that for the last few months we have been relentlessly carrying
out major renovation work at the School. The objective was to bring about some remarkable and
impressive changes to the physical infrastructure of the school. We strongly believe that having a
modern and state-of-the-art physical infrastructure also plays a critical role in creating an excellent
learning environment for our children. We are thus delighted to share with you that we have just
completed a number of modernizations to make St. George’s School Better than the Best and
Different from the Rest! We are glad to detail some of them here:

Modern-styled Air-Conditioned Reception: As you will enter the School now, you will be
pleased to experience a completely new, warm and welcoming Reception area for our
parents, guests and other visitors. The new Reception is ergonomically designed and its
layout is hospitable. It is adorned with a giant display unit showcasing the various prestigious
awards and accolades won by our competent student across various competitions. There are
also LED screens installed in the reception area to give you an immersive visual experience, a
glimpse into the vibrant life at SGS including recent events, achievements or competitions.

Upgraded Biology & Chemistry Labs: In our ongoing effort to deliver superior experiential
learning, we have also completely renovated our Biology and Chemistry Labs with
state-of-the-art equipment and completely new infrastructure, thereby ensuring that our
students have access to cutting-edge resources as part of their learning journey.
 Safety & Security Upgrades: Safety and security of our children has always been of
paramount importance to us. In our ongoing effort to ensure our children blossom in a
completely safe and secure environment, we have installed cutting- edge PNG detectors to
identify gas leaks in our Labs, if at all there is any. These detectors serve as vigilant guardians,
instantly identifying any gas leakage and allowing us to rectify any issue immediately.

Modern & Upgraded Toilet Facilities: While modernisation of our reception area, laboratories
and other school areas are important, having clean and hygienic washrooms are equally
important. Thus, we are very happy to share that we have done a complete renovation of
four toilet facilities in the A block of the school. Besides being extremely modern, clean and
hygienic, these wash rooms are also powered by go-green and water optimisation
technologies thereby contributing towards making a cleaner & eco-friendly environment.
Installation of sensor-based taps and soap dispensers in all the toilets further ensures water
conservation while sensor-based lighting systems minimise energy consumption and carbon
footprints.

In fact, during the entire construction process, we have used only premium, top-quality construction
material without compromising anywhere be it quality of material or workmanship. This is only to
ensure that the final outcome is extreme child-friendly, safe, secure, sustainable and long-lasting.

The main idea and core objective of carrying out these mega renovation and refurbishment works by
investing significant time, material and investments was to create a favourable child-friendly learning
environment for our students. We believe that these thoughtful enhancements will not only elevate
the overall learning experience of our children but also set a new standard for modern, hygienic,
tasteful and eco-friendly practices in the field of education. It is not out of place to mention that
St. George’s School has the rare distinction to be one of the first schools in India to run on 100% solar
powered energy generated through mega roof-top installations done a few years ago.

To conclude, we would like to assure parents that Management remains steadfastly committed to
bring about many more similar improvisations in the times to come to realise the vision of our
late Chairman Shri M. G. George Muthoot to make St. George’s School ‘The Best School in Delhi and
One of the Best Schools in India’.
