GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS


[ BCA MINOR PROJECT ]
Summer 2024 Examinations

1. Students are expected to choose a problem which will provide software


solutions.
2. The project must be completed as individual student’s project.
3. The project can be based on the courses studied in the previous/current
semester or software platform which student is able to use.
4. Students will receive email with Name, Mobile No & Email ID of Guide.
5. Students are expected to approach the allotted Project Guide by University.
If students approach any other Project Guide in such case Project Report
will not be accepted & Viva-Voce will not be conducted.
6. The project report as per below given format is expected to be prepared.
7. As per the suggestions/changes suggested by Project Guide, students must
prepare the project report.
8. The rough draft of the project report is to be submitted on or before 25th June
2024 to the respective Project Guide.
9. Students are expected to submit the updated project report based on
suggestions (if any) given by Guide.
10. The final project report approved by the guide is to be submitted on or
before 30th June 2024 to the respective Project Guide through email only.
11. Project Guide will give 10 Marks based on student performance & project
report submission, subject to submission of Project Report before deadline.
The recommendation of project guide is kept into consideration for
evaluation & assessment.
12. The Project Guide will conduct a minimum of 3 common meetings, based on
that student’s Progress Report will be submitted by Project Guide. Student
attendance is mandatory for these online meetings.
13. The Online Project Viva will be conducted of 40 Marks (including evaluation
of project report). If a student fails to appear for the Online Project Viva, then
he/she will be marked ABSENT.

The size of the paper should be standard A 4; height 297mm, width 210mm.
• Page Format
The printed sheets shall have the following margins:
Top margin 15 mm

Head height 3 mm

Head separation 12 mm

Bottom margin 22 mm

Footer 3 mm

Foot separation 10 mm

Text height 245 mm

Text width 160 mm


When header is not used the top margin should be of 30mm.
