THE ABOVE SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSPECTED AND TESTED AS FOLLOWS: Out Applicable Comments
1.Verify Proper Operation of all water mist, water spray &sprinkler systems using the test valves X
for each section
2. Visually Inspect all accessitble components for proper condition X

3. Externally examine all high pressure cylinders for conditions &Hydro test dates X

4. Function test of all Local & Remote Activating Points for audible & visible Alarm & Activation X
of system
5. Checked and Inspected Solenoid Valves for Close / Open function X

6. Flow test function of all pumps for proper pressure & capacity X

7. Localized Activating Smoke /Flame detectors Tested X

8.Test all antifreeze systems for adequate freeze protection
9. Test all systen cross over connections to other sources of water supply for proper operation. X

10. Verify all pump relief valves, if provided, are properly set
11 Examine all filters/strainers are free of debris and contamination

12. Verify all control/ section valves are in correct position.
13. Blowthrough discharge piping with compressed air &check piping &nozzles are clear of
obstructions &any changes that affect the system due to obstructions etc
14. Test emergency power supply changeover, where applicable. X
15. Visually inspect all sprinklers for conditions X
16. Test a minimum of one section in each open head water mist system by activating the water flow
through the nozzles.
17.Test a minimunm of 2 automatic sprinklers or water mist nozzles for proper operation X

18. Flush all ro-ro deck deluge system piping with water, drain and purge with air (5 yearly)
19. Internal Inspection of all control/section valves (5 yearly) X

20. Check conditions of batteries, if applicable, renew as per maker's recomunendation (5 yearly) X

21. Carry out hydrostatic test &internal examination for gas &water pressure cylinders as per flag X
requirements or EN 1968:2002 +A1 (10 yearly)
22. System sealed and left in operational order, inspection date labels attached
23. Master, Chief Engineer informed system now operational.
