SOCIAL EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT FAMILY INVOLVEMENT

GENERAL COMMENT
Lwandle has shown excellence this term and is above proficiency in Maths, English, Life Skills, Natural Sciences and
Social Sciences. Lwandle has shown excellence in demonstrating responsibility. In the next term, we would like to
support Lwandle to continue excelling at working towards achieving personal goals during self-led work time.

ENGLISH HOME LANGUAGE


Lwandle reads at a high standard. Their understanding is complex and they can identify relationships between, and
changes in, characters. They would do well to discuss their findings with a peer, which would improve their ability
to justify their opinions. Lwandle writes at a high standard, creating a flow in their writing through the use of logical
connections between ideas, varied sentence structure, strong vocabulary and good paragraph organisation. They
are able to set up a logical sequence of events, a creative resolution and a suitable ending in their pieces. They
should be encouraged to always check all drafts with scrupulous attention to detail until their very final piece is
completed.

MATHEMATICS
Lwandle has made procedural errors while solving questions. An area for improvement is to ensure questions are
read, showing working out and checking answers.

ISIZULU FIRST ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE


Lwandle can read simple sentences, understand visual texts, and interpret information by answering questions
based on the text with support. Can improve by reading more similar texts independently to improve
understanding.
