 Cable Dressing Tips
• Form cable into position without using the hanger
as a lever point
• Avoid high force upward pulling on the cable near
a hanger attachment point.
• SnapTak hangers are designed to withstand
125mph wind forces on a 3 stack of ½” cable with a
high safety factor
• Metal hangers are capable of 2X more. They
tolerated being a fulcrum
• By observing this difference
during cable dressing SnapTak
hanger pop-outs can be avoided

 Retrofit Installation Tips

• SnapTak is 50% smaller than steel hanger

• Plan for lower profile when retrofitting
• Give cables some slack for new position
