iVMS-4200 is a free surveillance software targeted on small, medium and

entry level markets. It is compatible with most of Hikvision devices. And it
makes it easy to build a CCTV system, an alarm system, an access control Safe city Hik-Central Master

 6 adding modes • IP/Domain: Add the device by its IP address or domain.
Server port (8000 by default) is needed.

• IP Segment: Add the devices with the same IP Segment. The

port number, username and password have to be the same
for all the devices.

• E-Home: Add the device by its account of E-home. This

adding mode only supports to add access control devices.

• Cloud P2P: Add the devices by login the Hik-connect account.

• HiDDNS: Use domain name registered on HiDDNS

• Batch import: Export the csv file and fill in the device
information, then import the file to add multiple devices.
Device Management

 Adding modes

• Provide adding devices by CloudP2P.

• Add devices in batch: Input the Hik-Connect Account

and password, click Get Device List button to show the
devices added to Hik-Connect account. Then select the
devices as desired.

• Add single device: Input the device’s required

information and this device will be added to the client.

Device Management Group Management

• Group management: only when you have the groups in the group list, you can select the channels
for live view, playback, etc.

1. Create the group by creating a name and import

the channels and alarm inputs in one’s need.
2. Create the group directly using the device name
and all the device channels and alarm inputs will
be included in that group.

Remote Surveillance
When we want to remotely view a device, we can do so across a network (LAN & WAN) as long as
the devices are ‘visible’. Live view, playback, video downloading and parameter configuration can
be utilized by an authorized user via client software or web browser.
Remote viewing from outside the LAN or WAN will require ‘route’ to be provided to the network
and then a ‘access’ to the devices.

Main Process:
