Living a healthy lifestyle can help prevent chronic diseases and long-term illnesses. Feeling good
about yourself and taking care of your health are important for your self-esteem and self-
image. Maintain a healthy lifestyle by doing what is right for your body.
-You gain confidence. All too often, we listen to self-doubts and niggles, which prevents us from
making changes. When you face these worries head-on and embrace change, you get the
opportunity to challenge yourself. With these challenges comes increased confidence and faith
in your own abilities.
-Getting started on your exercise program Be active on most (preferably all) days every week.
Accumulate 2½ to 5 hours of moderate intensity physical activity or 1 ¼ to 2 ½ hours of vigorous
physical activity, or an equivalent combination of both moderate and vigorous activities, each
week.
-some, the end goal in life may be achieving happiness, fulfillment, or inner peace. For others, it
may be to pursue success, wealth, or fame. Some may seek to leave a positive impact on the
world through their actions, while others may prioritize personal growth, relationships, or
spirituality

Physical activity has been associated with numerous mental health benefits, including
improved mental health, motor skill development, cardiovascular risk profile, weight
development, bone health, cognitive functioning, and quality of life or self-esteem in young
people.
