I. INTRODUCTION:

Who am I? I am ___________________, resident of

________________________. I was born on ___________________.
Currently I am _____years old. I finished my _______________________ at
_________________________. After my graduation, I started working as a
_________________________________. I was there for _____ years. It
was the first and last company that I worked for as a seafarer.
Hopefully someday, I will be able to enhance on PV systems
installation. Ever since I was in elementary, I was very interested in welding,
metal works, and electric wirings. Maybe this was because of my grandfather
who influenced me because he owned a welding shop when he was alive.
That is why when I saw the offer of TESDA PV systems installation training
course, I immediately registered because I want to gather information about
the “ins” and “outs” of PV installation; possibly establishing a business with
this booming market.
II. LEARNING INSIGHTS IN:

In my 36 days in this course PhotoVoltaic System Installation, first, is

having new friends with different stories in life. I learned how to communicate
with and get along with my classmates together with my instructor.
I learned in this course how to properly use the Multimeter, as well as
other tools, and the importance of using proper protective gear. I also learned
to test diodes, resistors, ICs, etc. I also got to know the importance of PCB
layouts and parts placements, I also learned to assemble solar night light,
most of all I have learned/knowledge about how to calculate loads, and how
many batteries needed for each PCV system, its power outputs, as well as
the types of solar panels, and its sizes, which is needed to calculate the total
wattage in order to select the proper inverter to use with the amount of load.
There is also the importance of selecting what kind of Solar Charge
Controller to use in the set up for Solar Installation.
Our School TESDA LMMSAT, opened our minds to the possibilities of
this industry; it not only enhanced our skills, it also taught us to be good, fair,
and responsible individuals who upholds proper work ethic and
trustworthiness as workers in this industry.

IV. CONCLUSION

In Completing this PV Systems Installation, I have realized that this

industry needs very competent people. I do know that there is more to the
development of these solar technology; however, such an industry is already
booming especially today. I have enjoyed learning about PV Systems
installation, I gradually learned that this industry is no simple job especially
when we want to produce quality works. I am also thankful for the supervision
of our trainer. It has been challenging not only for me, but for my classmates
as well. We all pushed through the difficulties of this course, and hopefully,
what we learned will stay with us, not just the installation of these systems,
but as well as the discipline.
V. EXPECTATIONS (After Graduation)

In Completing this PV Systems Installation Course, I am looking forward

to new opportunities opening for me. I may try working for companies both
locally and overseas if the opportunity arises. I am also looking forward to
establishing a business of the same nature once I have enough funds to
supply the necessary parts that is needed for this kind of business.
