SCHOOL-BASED TRAINING OF TEACHERS ON THE MATATAG CURRICULUM

FOR KINDERGARTEN, GRADE 1, GRADE 4, AND GRADE 7 PER CLUSTER

1. The Department of Education – Schools Division of Sarangani, through the

Schools Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), announces the simultaneous
conduct of the School-Based Training for Teachers on the MATATAG
Curriculum for Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 4, and Grade 7 per cluster on 22-
26 July 2024.

2. The following SBTT in charge per cluster shall ensure the efficient and
effective implementation of the school-based training program:

3. To ensure that the SBTT will be implemented based on the NEAP standards
and to help identify progress and gaps in the program so that timely and
appropriate adjustments and interventions are made, the identified PMT, M&E
Focal, and ICT in charge for SBTT by cluster shall conduct a live-out Capability
Building per cluster on the following dates and venues:

4. All ICT in charge per cluster shall convene for a separate capability building
on 08 July 2024, in the SDO Sarangani Conference Room to be led by DIO Ariel C.
Lalisan. Moreover, the SBTT in charge, Lead PMT, and M&E officers per cluster
must submit a hard copy of the approved SBTT Program Implementation Plan and
M&E Plan at the Human Resource Development Section and School Management
Monitoring and Evaluation Section on or before 05 July 2024. Attached is the
composition of PMT and M&E Focals per cluster for reference.

5. Meals and snacks of the assigned PMT, M&E Focals, and ICT in charge per
cluster during the capability building and the SBTT shall be charged against local
funds or School MOOE subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and
regulations.
