more jazz orientated musical style in the early 90's. Cole may be best remembered for
her 1991 album, Unforgettable... with Love, featuring her own arrangements of her
father's greatest hits. Her decision to record the songs was a chart success; the album
sold over 7 million copies in the United States alone, and won Cole several Grammy
Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Traditional Pop Vocal
Performance. The album featured a duet, the title track, with her father, created by
splicing a recording of his vocals into the track. As a single, it reached #14 on Billboard

released September 9, 2008. The first single and video is another virtual duet with her
father, a cover of his 1951 hit "Walkin' My Baby Back Home". "I've been so fortunate to
have learned so much from my past experiences. I am embraced by the love and

was inspired by the example of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, so she wrote to the Sisters of
Charity working with Bourke's indigenous community then went to Bourke for three
months after her HSC. "And that's where I also realized that the world is divided into two
sorts of people - those who help the individuals and those that are interested in changing
the system. And I realized I was a change-the-system person.” Through the CSIRO's
Women in Science program, which ran through the 80s and 90s, Catherine spoke to
girls at hundreds of schools about keeping their options open by not automatically
shunning the sciences. She received a Public Service Medal in this year's Australia Day
honors for her research in physics, promotion of science through a weekly ABC radio
show, TV and speaking engagements and for being a role model for women in science.
But she always believed - first as a student at St Anthony's primary school, Marsfield,
and then at Santa Sabina College, Strathfield - that she would be a high school science
teacher. Catherine studied physics, chemistry and maths for her HSC, as did her older
brother, Bernard, who had nurtured her interest in science as a younger girl. She is
involved in the Women In Science Inquiry Network, which was established to increase
women's participation in the sciences. Catherine has volunteered for many committees
and community initiatives apart from Women in Science. And she is a former national
president of Scientists Against Nuclear Arms. "The work that I am related to has actually

Sacramento International Airport to record images of this flag-draped coffin returning
home, contravening U.S. Military policy and president Bush’s ban on the filming of U.S.
Soldiers’ coffins returning home from Iraq. A military investigation has found that Iraqi
troops being trained by American forces killed two California National Guard soldiers two
years ago during a patrol north of Baghdad, an Army spokesman said Tuesday.
(National Guard Spc. Patrick R. McCaffrey Sr., 34, of Tracy (A father of two children,
McCaffrey was a manager with a Silicon Valley collision repair company ) and 1st Lt.

years as a hospice caregiver, comforting the dying. Ten years ago she set up a non-
