May this letter finds you at your very best. I am Joice Christine D. Makilan, a dedicated and
passionate Level 3 Student-Nurse currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program
at Colegio San Agustin – Bacolod. I am writing this letter in hopes of any financial assistance that you
can extend towards our out-of- the-province duty scheduled July 8-27, 2024 to be held in Metro
Manila.

This appeal is rooted not with the intention of fully getting away but defraying cost related
expenditures on the entire 3 weeks class, duty and immersion extending beyond our local
community's confines. In pursuit of the academe’s aim in promoting quality and globally competitive
Nurses, this learning experience in diverse healthcare environment offers a very unique opportunity
in the Nursing field which normal classroom set up cannot. Relevant costs of this program would
cover air fare, food and lodging, transportation service to and fro concerned medical facilities and
institution and for the International language required by the curriculum.

Your simple act of generosity could go a very long way and would definitely give so much
impact on my Nursing career in the future. With great humility and deep sense of gratitude I am
appealing on your generous hearts with a promise that it will be appreciated immensely.
