1.0 CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION OF THE BUSINESS PLAN

Business is the act of producing, acquiring or offering products or services

in return for cash. These activities are frequently carried out inside businesses
or enterprises. There are four types of businesses which is sole
proprietorship, partnership, corporation and limited liability company. Name of
our company is Make With Love Sdn Bhd which is the types of business is
sole proprietorship. The business address is Karung Berkunci 29, Pengkalan
Chepa, 16100 Kota Bharu. This business sell a wide variety of food such as
Vietnam Rolls our main menu, Jeruk Mangga, Popia Carbonara and so on.
This Make With Love business gets a lot of demand for food especially
Popia Carbonara. We conduct direct marketing using the Tiktok and
Instagram in addition to selling it to college students. We plan to give students
promotions by buying two Vietnam Rolls get one free sparkling water. In
addition, Popia Carbonara is sold and commended for being incredibly good.
Through this marketing, we have received a higher capital return than we had
anticipated. We are also constantly improving our product taste so that our
customers are satisfied to our products.
The choice of products comes next. On the NeWeek sales day, our group
has decided to sell food items like the classic menus; among the meals we've
prepared are nasi lemak and confections such curry puffs, seri muka, and
ants' nest cake. In addition to Malaysian ice cream, there are refreshments
such iced bandung and lemon blue soda. The majority of the menu items we
provide are traditional Malaysian dishes. We currently have a large number of
international students in various faculties because our country welcomes a
wide range of foreign visitors, students, and professors, including the one
where we are studying.
As an illustration, a portion of the pupils are from Ghana, Pakistan,
Indonesia, and Africa. With that knowledge in hand, our crew decided to
introduce Malaysian cuisines to them so they could taste and discover our
country's traditional heritage cuisine. In addition, the reason these dishes
were chosen is that they are highly well-known and well-liked in Malaysia.
Malaysians would still search for and appreciate these menus day or night. In
addition, the majority of the baking and cooking for these dishes is done by

3
elderly or seasoned chefs. The recipes have been passed down through the
generations.
Not to be overlooked is the SSU registration ID. In order to operate a
business at Kelantan Malaysia University (UMK), an SSU ID registration is
required. A database system has been developed by the Center for
Entrepreneurship Development and Education (CEED) at the UMK Institute of
Entrepreneurship to monitor the registrations of student firms.
For students to find it easier to complete tasks thoroughly and
methodically, this system is crucial. SSU registration ID has many advantages
for students and anyone hoping to open their own business in UMK. A
microloan facility ranging from RM1000.00 to RM5000.00, entrepreneur
kiosks at all three campuses (Bachok, Jeli, and Kota Bharu), instructional
coaching and mentoring, free UMK entrepreneurship courses and training,
and workshops are a few advantages. In addition, UMK's entrepreneurs will
have the opportunity to network and receive mentoring from other UMK
entrepreneurs as well as take part in the entrepreneurship program offered by
Public Higher Education Institutes around Malaysia. To complete the
registration process, sign in to the UMK e-capsule website and select the SSU
registration ID link.

3.0 CHAPTER 3: MARKETING STRATEGIES

7
To be a successful trader, we need to know the right way to attract customer
attention and increase product sales in the market so that the business we run
will progress and continue to grow. Thus, through the marketing strategy that
will be developed, this will be the asphalt of business development
. Among the marketing strategies used by our business are:
i. Product Strategy
Product strategy is a presentation practice that encompasses all
product-specific concepts. The product strategy we use in developing
our business is to meet the personal needs of customers or research
the situation of other traders. It's our way to reach our profit targets in
business. We've sold ‘ jeruk mangga asam boi’, Vietnam roll, and
karbonara popia and laici drinking syrup water than other business
sales to ensure customers stick to our products. We have also used a
pleasant packaging method, and the product has not suffered any
damage.

ii. Price Strategy

Price strategy is the method used by traders to determine products
and services. In the context of price strategy, we have researched our
price setting that fits all age groups and, more importantly, is suitable
for students at the University of Malaysia Kelantan. Pricing on our
products is affordable and corresponds to the amount given for one of
our products. Prices for our products are set from RM 2.00 up to RM
7.00.

iii. Promotion Strategy

A promotional strategy refers to the method used by traders to
advertise and sell our products. We've used some promotional
strategies where we've made online promotions through digital poster
advertising in the WhatsApp and Instagram apps. This method has
been adopted by us because online advertising methods are the most
appropriate way to use them in modern times and easily influence

8
people. So, through the marketing strategy that we've been using, this
has yielded results that are beyond our reach.

iv. Place Strategy

The location strategy is to play an important role in obtaining
customers. The location strategy we have used is cash on delivery
(COD) in the campus area and also in the area near the city of Kota
Bharu. We have also joined a NEWeek program that has been held on
the Open Entrepreneurship Day of the Malaysian University of
Kelantan for two days to promote and fulfill our business profits.

4.0 CHAPTER 4 : PRODUCT DISPLAY AND VISIBILITY

9
In retail, storefront visibility and product display are crucial components that
can boost customer appeal and, eventually, sales. To draw customers to our
booths and products, we employ a variety of techniques. Customers who are
willing to purchase our products will find a pleasant atmosphere created by
our traditional themes and decorations. An eye-catching booth can draw
people in, which is the first step towards becoming a customer. The likelihood
that we will make sales rises along with the number of visitors.

4.1 DETERMINATION OF SALES BOOTH DECORATION CONCEPT, THE

PRODUCT ARRANGEMENTS IDEAS
Establishing the sales booth's décor concept is crucial to drawing
clients in and fostering a distinctive shopping atmosphere. We decide on the
sales booth's central theme. We selected a theme that complements both the
brand identity and the product being sold based on the theme discussion.
Themes can be anything from nature to minimalism to vintage too traditional.
Next, we select a colour scheme for the decorative element, particularly the
poster, that complements the theme and is eye-catching. While neutral
colours can create a sophisticated and calming effect, bright colours can draw
attention. To draw attention to our products and create the desired
atmosphere, we decided to use lighting colours.
Furthermore, the choice of materials we use complementary materials
like fabric, plastic, or recycled materials to add variety and texture to the
decoration for our sales booth. We also choose materials that fit the theme,
such as wood for a natural theme or metal and glass for a modern theme.
Next, we employ the addition of decorations and accessories to elevate the
standard of our sales booth. To create a final touch that complements our
business's theme, we add little decorations like flowers, candles, or decorative
pillows. We also select large accessories like statues, plants, or hanging
lamps that can be the focal point of the booth. Thus, technology is used.
Our team conducts research to gather data about digital content, such
as product details, advertisements, or even brief but engaging videos. To
create a visually balanced display, we use visual merchandising principles like
the rule of three to arrange the products in an orderly and attractive manner.
We also place the main product or new product in a prominent and easily

10
accessible area. We can establish a visually appealing and functional sales
stall decoration concept that not only improves visual appeal but also makes
customers' shopping experiences more enjoyable.
Furthermore, for the majority of the arrange product, we utilise the
zone technique. food our "entrance zone" is where we showcase our best-
selling products and actively promote them to draw in customers. We also use
large displays, such as rack or table, with eye-catching decorations to draw
attention to our food items or snacks. Furthermore, in the beverage zone, we
serve beverages at the first available time so that customers can pay
attention. Third, the primary course zone. We implement the first line of
defence in the field so that customers can quickly understand what they are
interested in. We also use an easily accessible table or rack and ensure that
every product has a clear price label.
For an intriguing food display, as a result. Glass ethalas are used to
present food that requires protection, like fried food, which draws attention
due to its neat appearance and cleanliness. Digital screens are used to
present product information, promotions, and menus in an engaging and
dynamic manner. We offer an Education and Interaction Zone, where
customers can witness the food manufacturing process and become more
interested. This area is used for product presentations or cooking
demonstrations. Our team makes sure that every product is clearly labelled
with its name, price, and a brief description. We also make use of noticeable
signage to direct customers' attention to products or promotional areas.
