RESOLUTION NO. 31
Series of 2023

A RESOLUTION CONCURRING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF LYDIA C. BASCO AS

TREASURER OF BARANGAY MAULAWIN, MUNICIPALITY OF PAGSANJAN

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 395 of Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise known as
the Local Government Code, the Barangay Treasurer shall be appointed by the Punong
Barangay with the concurrence of the majority of all the sangguniang barangay members;

WHEREAS, Hon. Jonathan P. Almontero, Punong Barangay of this Barangay

appointed Lydia C. Basco on November 21, 2023 and submitted the same appointment to
this august body for review and concurrence;

WHEREAS, after thorough study and deliberations, this Sanggunian found that the
appointee satisfies the minimum qualification requirements as provided for under Section
395 (b) of the Local Government Code of 1991;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Ronnie M. Estrella duly seconded by

Leny K. Banaag and all members present; BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED,
to concur to the appointment issued by Punong Barangay Hon. Jonathan P. Almontero for
Lydia C. Basco as the Barangay Treasurer;
 RESOLVED FURTHER, to send copies of this Resolution to all the officials and
offices of the government concerned for their information.
