PROVINCE OF BULACAN

BARANGAY GAYA-GAYA
WHEREAS, there is a need to establish a response team in the barangay to readily address
emergency situations and give assistance during calamities brought about by natural and man-
made disaster;
WHEREAS, said responders are group of individuals who will voluntarily contribute time,
service and resources whether full time or part time in belief that their activity is mutually
meaningful and beneficial to the public interest as well as to themselves;
WHEREAS, under the IRR of RA 10121, Rule 6, Section 4, No. 16 states that every disaster
committee shall perform the function to: organize, train, equip, and supervise the local
emergency response teams and the volunteers, ensuring that humanitarian aid workers are
equipped with basic skills to assist mothers to breastfeed;
WHEREAS, there is a need to reorganize and activate the establish emergency response team;
Section 1. Composition of the Barangay Emergency Search and Rescue Team – The
team shall be composed of the following:

Section 2. Duties and Responsibilities – The team shall have following duties and
responsibility:
1. Readily assist and respond during emergency situations;
2. Extend the necessary assistance to the BDRRMC during disaster; and
3. Perform such other functions as maybe required by law and other related issuances.
Section 3. Effectivity
This Order shall take effect immediately.
