Respected Madam,

Mood Indigo is the annual cultural festival of IIT Bombay.

Attracting over 50,000 students from over 450 colleges all over India, Mood Indigo is
the biggest and a unique festival of its kind. The festival is most appealing to youth and
also draws in the most versatile crowd hosting over 1000 alumni, professors and their
associates who are mainly corporate. In terms of its budget and corporate sponsorship
as reported in leading dailies like Economic Times, The Times of India, Indian
Express, etc and media partners like NDTV, CNBC, AAJ TAK , B4U etc, Mood
Indigo by its sheer glamour is the most lavish festival in the country.

In the past, Mood Indigo has seen celebrities of the order of Lucky Ali, Remo
Fernandes, Colonial Cousins, Hema Malini, Jagjit Singh, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pt.
Hari Prasad Chaurasia performing for crowds in excess of 15,000.

Mood Indigo has previously received corporate sponsorship from companies like
SBI, Airtel, Hutch, Zee Studio, ONGC, Orange, DHL, Listerine (Pfizer), BPCL,
Oakley, Philips, Sketchers, ZOD, Red Bull, Syntax, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Radio Mirchi,
Adlibs.

The festival is now in its 35th reincarnation. A display of inspirational performances from
professionals and students heralds the cultural face of India. Giving amateur talents a
platform to perform, Mood Indigo has acted as a launch pad for the careers of celebrities
like Amjad Ali Khan and Hrishitta Bhatt. And for 4 days and 4 nights, from 26th
December to 29th December; a crowd of over 50,000 youngsters bask in the magic of
Mood Indigo.
Mood Indigo undoubtedly offers you an unparalleled opportunity to publicize your brand.

I hereby propose a very special association of “Mc Donald” with Mood Indigo 2006.
Mileage terms and conditions

 Your food brand will get 2 stalls at main locations form where it can carry out its
sales. No promotional activities will be performed. The necessary infrastructure
for the stalls will be provided by Mood Indigo.

 Mood Indigo will help your food brand in any data collection survey that it
needs.

 There will be no cash transactions at the stalls. There will be a centralized


coupon system managed solely by the organizers of Mood Indigo.

 Transportation within the campus will be provided by Mood Indigo. Electricity


and other infrastructure will be provided by Mood Indigo.

 Final rate list will be decided upon by mutual agreement of Mc Donald’s and
Core Group Members (Food and Beverages). Any change in the prices had to be
conveyed to and agreed upon by Core Group Members, Food and Beverages.

 Violation of any of the above terms and condition will lead to punitive damages.
The nature of fine rests at the discretion of Core Group Members, Food and
Beverages.

What this entails for Mc Donald

 Cost for 2 stalls Rs 40,000(Rs. Forty thousand only)..

 No more than one banner per stall will be put up. Publicity activity in any other
form will not be done.

 An amount of Rs. 30,000/-(thirty thousand only) will have to be paid by the


first week of December 2006.

 Remaining Rs. 10,000(Rs. Ten Thousand Only) to be provided as free food

 All cheques to be drawn in favor of “Registrar, IIT Bombay”.
