Symptom

You want to create a financial statement version or change one of the delivered
versions. However, the results of the evaluation run using the program RFBILA00
or RFBILA10 do not meet your requirements.

Reason and Prerequisites

This is due to the complex nature of the product.

Solution

When you create financial statement versions, you must take several aspects into
account that have not yet been mentioned in the relevant documentation.
The following rules apply for creating the version:

1. The following special items (highlighted in red in the structure

maintenance) have to be assigned on the second hierarchy level (directly
below the root node with the description of the financial statement
version):

• Assets

• Liabilities

• Not assigned

2. The following special items (highlighted in red in the structure

maintenance) have to be assigned below the special item Liabilities in the
hierarchy:

• Net result: loss

• Net result: profit

3. The special item P+L result can be assigned as required. However, it must
not be assigned as a subnode of another special item.

In addition, you should check the financial statement version before using it.
To do this, use the function Structure >> Check. Check the data in the log and
correct the financial statement version if required.
