Department: Warehouse and Logistic

Position: Warehouse Executive


Job Description
1. Overseeing shipment loading and unloading, handling day-to-day operations for the
warehouse and creating shipment schedules

2. Monitoring inventory levels using software programs and initiating Out of Stock List or
Production Planner when inventory levels become too low or high.

3. Enforcing facility security and employee safety measures to ensure that the warehouse
adheres to the government’s safety standard.

4. Examining related materials and goods to identify defects and check the quantity.

5. Leading and managing warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and
performance evaluation. Ensuring that staff adhere to safety protocols and operational
procedures

6. Communicating with production, suppliers and vendors by email or phone to


coordinate stocks, equipment needs and schedule shipments.

7. Implementing process improvements and efficiency measures to enhance warehouse


productivity and reduce costs. This may involve implementing new technologies,
streamlining workflows, or re-evaluating existing procedures.

8. Coordinating the receipt of incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality, and
organizing storage. Also, overseeing the dispatching process, ensuring orders are picked
accurately and shipped on time.

9. Implementing efficient warehouse layout and storage systems to optimize space


utilization and facilitate easy access to products. This includes labelling, shelving, and
arranging goods in a logical manner.

10. Collaborating with logistics partners, suppliers, and transportation companies to


coordinate the timely movement of goods in and out of the warehouse. This includes
scheduling deliveries, managing transportation costs, and resolving any delivery-related
issues.

11. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
governing procurement practices. Upholding ethical standards in all procurement
activities, including transparent procurement processes.
