General Note:
Before pricing of the foregoing Bills of Quantities, the

Contractor shall visit the site to obtain further information
and ascertain for himself the nature and extent of works and
site conditions which may affect the Work and/or refer to the
topographic survey if available on his own cost. No claim
will be entertained on the ground of inadequate or incorrect
information given herein.
Indemnity and Insurance
A The Contractor shall procure all the necessary insurances

which shall include the WC, CAR and third party insurances,
etc.
B The Contractor shall be liable for and shall indemnify the

Employer against any damage, expense, liability, loss, claim
or proceedings whatsoever in respect of personal injury to or
in the course of or by reason of the carrying out of the works
under this contract, unless due to any negligent or willful act
of the Employer or any person for whom the Employer is
responsible.
Site Work
C The site work shall be carried out so as to cause minimum

nuisance and to maintain maximum safety to persons. The
Contractor shall be responsible for any damage cause to
property and injury to persons resulting from his execution of
the work or from his occupation of the site and the Employer
shall be fully indemnified against this eventually.

A The Contractor is deemed to have visited the site and shall

allow accordingly in his rate for all existing physical
conditions and obstruction on site including all temporary
works deem necessary. Contractor required to price for all
related cost for the completion of the works.
B The description of the item herein shall be read in

conjunction with the specification and/or the drawings. The
rate priced against each item herein shall be deemed to
include for all provision of all labour, material, conveyance,
delivery, unloading, storing, getting out and cutting and
fixing in any position return of packing, used of tools, plant
and machinery, all duties and taxes where applicable,
establishment charges and profit and everything else
necessary for the due and proper completion of item by
implication or description.
C The work in this contract shall be on lump sum based on

drawings and specifications. The quantities stated are only
indicative and shall NOT form part of the contract. However,
the unit rates shall form the Schedule of rates for valuation of
variations.
D Contractor is deemed to include in his price for all wastage,

labour for fixing, tools and fixing accessories and all as
shown in drawings.
E The terms of payment is 30 days from the submission of

Invoice with all supporting documents.
