 2.0 STARTING UP
1. Ensure that both doors are closed correctly before “ON” the power supply.

2. Ensure that power supply from the MAIN SWITCH BOARD TO AIR SHOWER is on.

3. Press the “POWER” button to the “ON” position.

4. Press the “LIGHT” button to the “ON” position.

5. Press the “FAN” button to the “ON” position.

6. The AIR SHOWER TUNNEL SYSTEM should function according to the OPERATING SEQUENCE
(refer to attached sheet).

7. If any problems, please refer to TROUBLE SHOOTING or contact the manufacturer for further
advise.

3.0 AIR SHOWER TUNNEL SYSTEM

OPERATING SEQUENCING
Assume incoming electrical power supply is ON-LINE, blowers & lighting switches are at “ON” position.

ENTERING CLEAN ROOM

1. Open DSD by wave the touchless sensor

2. Walk into AIR SHOWER compartment

3. Dirty side door (DSD) will closed

4. Blowers run (0-60 second timer)

5. Blowers stop

6. Clean side door (CSD) can open manually

7. Walk out from AIR SHOWER toward cleanroom

8. Clean side door (CSD) closed

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Filters should be replaced according to the amount of usage of the Air Shower. Pre-filter should be checked on a
more frequent basis. It is recommended to replace every THREE months to ensure optimum air flow, it depends
on room condition. Proper maintenance of the pre-filter will extend the life of the ULPA filter.

To replace the ULPA filter locate at the filter plenum box inside the nozzle panel, remove the nuts holding the
ULPA filter onto the plenum box and the ULPA filter can be removed. Reverse the process when installing a new
ULPA filter.

WARNING: Switch power off at electrical service panel and lockout/tagout electrical panel prior to servicing or
working on unit.
Means of disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.

7.0 DO’S AND DONT’S

DO’S

- Check all the fan blower, indicator light & accessories are working properly

- Check all the control board are working properly

- Check all the wiring & connections to ensure they are secure & free of damage

- Check all the sequences of door interlocking system are working properly

- Use soft & dry clothes to regular clean air shower casing

- Use vacuum when cleaning dust inside control board

DONT’S

- Do not modify the control board

- Do not forcefully opened the auto sliding door when it is closed.

- Do not place object which obstruct the auto sliding door from closing

- Do not wipe dust inside control board using wet cloth/tissue

8.0 WARRANTY OF
AIR SHOWER TUNNEL SYSTEM
1. Air Shower carries a warranty from 27/4/2024 for a period of 24 months or four thousand
three hundred and eighty (4380) normal operating hours whichever is earlier.

2. In order to validate this warranty, the user must maintain and service the equipment periodically.

3. This warranty will be VOID under the following circumstances :

i) If the equipment is damaged, by accident, abnormal handling or misuse

ii) Any damages caused by assembly/replacement not done by us
iii)The difficulty or breakage is due to the use of parts, which are not genuine
iv)The trouble is due to a repairing done by someone not authorized by us
v) Any damages caused by modification of origin specification or design condition
vi) The difficulty of breakage is judged by us on the cause that it is due to the improper periodical
inspections and servicing as not according
vii) Ageing of the surface finishing due to normal wear and tear

4. Our warranty does NOT COVER the followings :

a) External defects which are not visible within a certain distance

b) Installation of wrong voltage mains or usage of wrong electrical characteristics
c) Other defects similar to the foregoing.

5. Any claim during warranty period, parts will be supplied at ex-factory basis.

6. Any labour involved for replacement of parts as well as inspection and rectification of faults not
covered by warranty will be charged according to the degree of complexity and on time and material
basis.

7. In addition to the above warranty, MAYAIR undertakes to the following :

a) Visit and attend to reported faults within 72 hours from the time of the reported fault.
b) Provide a written report to the customer of the faults and the actions to be
taken for rectification work
c) Use our best endevour to procure and replace all faulty parts as soon as possible.
d) Provide the customer with alternative equivalent parts if the faulty parts are no longer available or if
the same replacement parts will incur a long delivery lead time

In the event of breakdown, MayAir will endevour to provide substitute equipment to enable the factory to
function. This is provided always that the exact part is not available.
