Dear Student,

Greetings from Amity University Uttar Pradesh!

1. The results of all the students w.r.t. Even Sem Academic Session 2023-2024 have been declared
and data of passed/promoted students has been ported/moved for doing re-registration into
respective Semesters based on the promotion status. Further, the examinations of Summer
Semester 2024 have been conducted and the results of Summer Semester Examination 2024 will
be declared soon.

2. The assessment of attainment of Graduate Attributes and Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
of students have already been conducted and analysis of results of attainment of learning
outcomes is being done by the Programme Review and Outcome Assessment Committee (PROAC)
of your programme. The results of the same will be shared with the students about their attainment
of programme learning outcomes with suggested action plan at the student and programme levels.
In case you are not able to attain any of the PLOs, you will be advised to undertake appropriate
assignments/activities to enhance your learning for developing requisite skills and competencies.
The students are responsible for preparing themselves in the areas where attainment of Graduate
Attributes and Programme Learning Outcomes are either partly attained or not attained, they need
to request their HoIs/PL for reassessment.

3. The Academic Session 2024-2025 for 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th Semesters students of all programmes

4. The Block Academic Calendar for Academic Session 2024-2025 is available on Amizone under
‘Notices’ and ‘Student Document --> Document Downloads’ link, and a copy of the same is
attached herewith as Annexure-I.

5. Re-registration is mandatory for the students before the commencement of their classes as per Re-
registration Guidelines (G-026). A detailed PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) having step-wise details
 of online re-registration process is available on Amizone under ‘Notices’ and ‘Student Document
--> Document Downloads’ link, and a copy of the same is attached herewith as Annexure-II.

6. All “Fee Paid”/ “Fee Not Paid” promoted students can submit the Online Re-registration Forms and
accept the associated Online Undertakings on Amizone. Thereafter, the Amizone will confirm the
online re-registration of the “Fee Paid” eligible students automatically and a confirmation
message “Your registration process is complete” will be visible to “Fee Paid” eligible students
on their Re-registration page of Amizone.

7. The students who have not paid the semester fee, but submitted the online Re-registration Forms
will be advised by the Amizone to submit their Semester Fee and their online re-registration will not
be confirmed till the fee submission. Students facing difficulty in submission of their semester fee
due to genuine reasons are advised to immediately contact to their Programme Leader (PL)/Head
of the Institution (HoI) with supporting documents so that their cases can be put up to the
Competent Authority for a decision and students having genuine problems may also attend their
classes from Day-1 of commencement of the Odd Semester after approval.

8. Immediately after the online confirmation of re-registration, the Academic Planning Worksheet
(APW) of the relevant semester is visible to the students on Amizone for further online selection of
courses. Students are mandatorily required to submit their Academic Planning Worksheets (APWs)
which will be approved by the respective HoIs/PLs before the commencement of Odd Semester.
Attendance will not be marked online unless the student is Re-registered and APW is submitted
and approved on Amizone. Students must make their Academic Planning Worksheet (APW)
considering various options for achieving their Career Aspirations. Students can contact their
PLs/HoDs/HoIs for any support or clarifications.

9. Students can opt minimum 1 Credit Unit and maximum 9 Credit Units and up to 40% courses in
MOOCs from Amity Online, SWAYAM (NPTEL) in lieu of their Core Courses/ Discipline-1 Courses/
Allied Courses/ Compulsory Courses/ and other Course Type as Specialization / Domain
Electives/ Vocational/ Skill Based etc. or offered as Additional Course(s) under ‘Open Electives
Courses/ Multidisciplinary’ course type as per their choice. A list of mapped/approved SWAYAM
(NPTEL) courses applicable for the Odd Sem Academic Session 2024-2025 is already visible to all
students on Amizone. Please remember that your Academic Planning Worksheet will not be saved
till you select at least one SWAYAM (NPTEL) course. After the selection of MOOCs of SWAYAM
(NPTEL) into APW, please complete your online registration for the selected SWAYAM (NPTEL)
MOOCs on NPTEL Website https://nptel.ac.in/ by selecting Amity University Uttar Pradesh
Noida Campus Code 1962. To get the transfer of credits, students need to register for SWAYAM
(NPTEL) Examination and after passing the proctored online examination, upload his/her SWAYAM
(NPTEL) Certificate on Amizone for further online verification by your Programme Leader(s). The
following Credit(s) Transfer Policy as per SWAYAM (NPTEL) will be applicable for the students:

10. Students opting for Study Abroad Programme (SAP) Odd Semester Academic Session 2024-2025
are advised to select SAP Courses in their APWs before the commencement of their regular
classes.

11. E-Content of courses of Odd Semester will be available to students on A-LMS on Amizone for their
pre-read and understanding prior to commencement of classes. Students must go through the
 complete presentation/video uploaded by the course faculty on A-LMS and attempt the online quiz
related to specific topic for which the presentation/video has been seen. This Online Quiz will be a
part of your Continuous Internal Assessment, so don’t forget to attempt the online quiz that will be
given after each topic on A-LMS.

12. Students falling under the category of Repeat Year/Year Back/PAP/PAW/I-Category/Summer

Semester are required to submit online undertaking. Thereafter, parents of concerned students
will also accept the same online undertaking on Amizone for approval by University. Online re-
registration forms for such students are visible on Amizone only after online approval of their
undertaking. For guidance, students may contact their PLs/HoIs.

13. The Year Back students after online approval of the Competent Authority will be registered with
lower batch in case of Repeat Semester/Year, Academic Break will continue with the lower batch
and register for Guided Self-Study Course (GSSC).

14. As per our tradition, a sacred Havan and Prayer will be performed at the University Campus on
1st day of your orientation programme i.e. Monday, 08 July 2024 from 12.00 P.M. to 01.00 P.M. to
seek the blessings of Almighty for commencement of your journey of learning to fulfil your career
aspirations on completion of the programme at Amity. Students and their parents are invited to join
the sacred Havan and Prayer ceremony at university campus, if they can do so. Five students from
each institution shall attend the sacred Havan and Prayer in-person and rest of the students will
attend the live Webcast of Havan through the link given below:

Venue for the sacred Havan and Prayer of Monday, 08 July 2024 from 12.00 P.M. to 01.00 P.M. is E-
2 Block Foyer, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Sector 125, Noida.

15. Two days Student Orientation Programme cum Briefing Sessions for the 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th
Semesters students of all programmes has planned from Monday, 08 July 2024 to Tuesday, 09 July
2024. The detailed Orientation Programme Schedule will be accessible to students under ‘Notices’
and ‘Student Document --> Document Downloads --> Orientation Programme Schedule’ link of
Student Amizone and the same will also be communicated separately by respective HoIs. However,
a copy of your Orientation Programme and Briefing Session (without the details of Institutional
URLs/Links of online platforms, and resource persons etc.) is attached herewith as Annexure-III for
your ready reference. Clubbing-Grouping of the institutions for the orientation programme cum
briefing sessions can be seen in the attached programme schedule.

16. Students are advised to attend all the sessions of Orientation Programme cum Briefing Sessions,
and a certificate will be awarded to those students who will attend all the sessions and score at
least 80% marks in online assessment based on various sessions of Orientation Programme.

17. You are already aware that from the Academic Session 2022-2023, the ‘Face Recognition-Based
Gate Access’ has been implemented at AUUP Noida Campus and online attendance has also been
linked with face recognition-based entry details. The same Face recognition-based entry system
is compulsory for all the students of AUUP Noida Campus for Academic Session 2024-2025. In
case any student is facing issues in face recognition, s/he must contact the IT Team immediately to
get it resolved because no online attendance will be reset if gap is found at the student’s end. You
are advised to reach the university campus 15-20 minutes before the 1st class as per your
published timetable so that you may enter the university campus before the class start time (XX:15
hrs) which is linked with the online attendance of the attended classes.
 18. The classes of your respective semester of Odd Sem Academic Session 2024-2025 are
commencing from Wednesday, 10 July 2024. You are advised to be punctual from very first day
while adhering to the laid down protocols, rules and regulations of the university.

19. For any further guidance you may please contact your respective programme leader, faculty mentor
and HoI.
