I learnt from him three things that I can use to hook my audience in my presentation. These are
engaging the audience with a question that matters to the audience. Neill suggested that these will make
the audience willing to know what answer will be for that question. Also, I will use a factor of re-thinking;
that is making a statement that will cause the audience to re-think and want to hear more. It also makes
them put their trust in me. Furthermore, I will start with a relevant story that link to the topic just to
draw my audience attention.

I also learnt from this video how to use different variety in vocal. He explains the importance of taking
pause, speaking faster and slow and also having different pitch in the voice. I learnt I should take a
count of five second to make a pause in delivery. When I want my message to sink in my audience then
I need to make that moment of silent in my delivery. I should sometime raise my voice high and low in
terms of the kind of word I want to stress. However, I should make sure my voice is heard by the last
person in the room.

Carl Kwan gave three steps to organise presentation by starting with the conclusion, next some give
details and summarize what you talked about it. I see this as a good method to use when I do not have
enough time. I see this method as a way to keep the audience active and without boring them with a lot
of information.
