Control measures
 Proper training is given to the worker.
 Proper PPE’s to be worn.
 Use mechanical means of to minimize manual work.
 When Lifting, bends legs and hold load close the body.
 Instruct the worker to get help to lift heavy materials.
 Require worker report back injury.
 Wear Respirators or cover mouth and nose with wet
cloth.
 Ensure earthing of equipment and proper function of
electrical circuit before commencement of work.

 Provide safety cage around moving motors.

Revolving concrete mixture/vibrators  Ensure proper mechanical locking of vibrators.
Tissue Damage
 Trained operator is to be engaged.
 Equipment to be checked periodically.
 Register to be maintained.

 Transporting medium should be in good condition.

Transporting  Use gloves and require PPE’s.
Traffic accident, injury to person
 Traffic rule must be followed.
 Drivers must have valid license.
 Sign board/cautionary boards must be displayed.
 Safe access has to be provided.
Pouring of concrete Eye, Skin irritation  Proper usage of PPE like Safety goggles, Rubber hand
gloves & Gumboots.
 Proper housekeeping is necessary
Curing Person may fall down due to wet surface,  Clogging of water should be avoided.
 injury to workman  Use cautionary boards
 Ensure that proper arrangement of pipe line is done to
carry out curing at every place.
 Leakage of pipe is to be avoided.
Required training Required personal protective equipment (PPEs)
Material handling, Concrete safe handling, Electrical Safety. Hardhat, Safety shoes, Gumboots, Reflective jacket.
Proper House keeping Safety Goggles, Rubber hand gloves, Nose Mask.
