I am writing to express my strong interest in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science program at Southern

Cross University, Gold Coast campus. My name is Gurleen, and I recently completed the 12th grade
in the Science stream with Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics from PSEB, achieving an
impressive 87%, showcasing my robust foundation in the sciences. I took a thoughtful break to
explore study options for my bachelor's degree.

The Bachelor's of Biomedical Science is specifically related to my undergraduate study and is a

natural progression. It consists of 24 units and has a duration of 3 years. One of the primary factors
influencing my decision was the lack of programs in India that could offer the level of knowledge and
expertise I sought within a condensed timeframe. Specifically, my interest lies in the field of
biomedical science, which is currently undergoing extensive exploration worldwide. I recognized that
international exposure would be invaluable in deepening my understanding of biomedical in a
comprehensive manner.

Upon completing my Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Southern Cross University, I aspire to

contribute to India's biomedical sector, focusing on research, diagnostics, and healthcare
management. I envision roles at Biocon as a Biomedical Analyst with an expected salary of INR 7-9
Lakhs per annum or at Max Healthcare as a Healthcare Consultant - Biomedical with an expected
salary of INR 9-11 Lakhs per annum.

I have a strong bond with my family and country. All my family, friends and relatives live in India. I
have the sole responsibility to take care of my parents in their old age. Furthermore, my family have
some assets valued at INR 7,85,16,100/-Crore. I want to work for Indian society and communities, so
I shall go back to work in India. There are good jobs in India but working for the Indian society is my
main focus.

As this will be my first time applying for a student visa, I have no prior immigration history.
