ORDER

An application for the revision of cost data for distribution of works for 2017-18
was filed before KSERC for approval on 22.11.2017. The Commission has issued order on
the application on 27.4.2018 after public hearing and clarifications. KSEBL had submitted
petition for revision of rates for FY 2017-18. KSERC has approved the rates for FY 2018-
19 only. KSEBL has sought revision of rates for 79 items of distribution works including
that of ABC. In the order, Hon. Commission has dropped rates of 3 items from the
proposal. The rates of ABC works are retained as that of prevailing rates. The Commission
has not included GST in the cost data and ordered to collect it separately as per rules.

The Deputy Chief Engineer (Commercial & Planning) with full powers of Chief
Engineer as per note read as 2nd paper above has sought approval of Full Time Directors
of the Board for implementation of the KSERC order. Having considered the note read
above, The Board has accorded sanction –

1. to implement the order of KSERC on the revised cost estimates for distribution
works and appended as Annexure with effect from 27th April 2018,

2. to authorize Chief Engineer (IT&CR) to incorporate necessary modification in

ORUMANET application for implementation with effect from 27th April 2018 and
publish the rates on KSEBL website.
Orders are issued accordingly.
