6. FINDINGS
By collecting various data in this tour we found the following
things:
History Of Buddha:
Gautam Buddha was born on 563 BC in Kapilbastu of Lumbini.
He was the son of King Suddhodhan and Queen Mayadevi.
Although, he had the chance to live in luxury life, he quit his
luxurious life and attain enlightment and became Buddha.
Different scriptures and inscriptions can be found in Lumbini
describing Gautam Buddha’s life.

Architectures:
In Lumbini, we can find different architectures and structures.
Different ancient structures and where lord
Buddha was born are preserved in Mayadevi temple. Similarly,
Different countries have build different monasteries in their own
style which are very awesome and beautiful. We can see variety
in architectural styles in monasteries in Lumbini. Due to much
variety in architectural style, the area looks amazing. Similarly,
we can see many beautiful paintings in different monasteries in
Lumbini which depicts the importance and history of Buddha.
Likewise, we can also see the famous Ashoka pillar installed by
Emperor Ashoka during his visit to Lumbini.
Major Attractions
In Lumbini, there are many stupas which are the major agent to
attract tourists. Mayadevi temple is the main
Attraction of Lumbini where we can see footprint of Lord
Buddha. Besides these things the environment and natural beauty
also plays an important role to attract the tourists in Lumbini.

Tourist’s reason of visiting Lumbini:

Lumbini is birthplace of Buddha who was the founder of
Buddhism. So many tourists visit Lumbini as the pilgrims. Many
tourists there to enjoy architecture whereas others visit there to
learn culture and lifestyle of people.

7. ADVANTAGES
From this educational visit to Lumbini, I got different
advantages. Such as:

living there

8. LIMITATIONS
Although we got to learn about different things and got
different advantages from this study tour, there were some
limitations. Some of them are:
1. We didn’t get enough time to complete our study
2. Some inscriptions that we needed were in another
language. So, we could not extract information from
those inscriptions
3. The hotel where we were staying was no much
facilitated
9. Conclusion
From this educational trip we came to know that Lumbini is a
place of high religious importance. Many tourists are visiting
this place for recreation and to see the past life of lord buddha.
Although it was an amazing experience, we also have some
recommendations to make this area more attractive and
beautiful.
 Natural environment around Lumbini areas should be
preserved
 Local people should involve in sanitation
 A separate government department should be established
to preserve Lumbini areas
