Good morning ladies and gentlemen,


Thank you for joining us today on the 9th English Language Teaching,
Literature, and Translation International Conference 2021 with its main theme
"Challenges and Opportunities of ELTLT (English Language Teaching,
Translation, and Literature) in Post-Pandemic Era”.
This is the second conference in the history of ELTLT is completely
conducted on a digital platform in line with the social distancing norms due to
COVID-19 pandemic. As the chairperson of the conference, I would like to
express my sincere gratitude to all plenary speakers. As the chairperson of

speakers, Darrin Doyle, Ph.D. (Central Michigan University), Gretchen
Papazian, Ph.D. (Central Michigan University), Assoc. Prof. Suyansah
(Universiti Malaysia Sabah), Assoc. Prof. Napak-on Sritakan (Rajamangala
University of Technology Isan) and Assoc. Prof. Haslina Haroon (Universiti
Sains Malaysia). Also, as this year is special, we also would like send our
gratitude to our professors for taking part as plenary speakers of the
conference, Prof. Januarius Mujiyanto, Prof. Dwi Rukmini, and Prof.
Abdurrahman Faridi.
I also welcome all the eminent speakers from many universities in Indonesia
and some from other countries to share their knowledge and vast experience
in this conference.
The objectives of the 10th International Conference on ELTLT are to exchange
and share ideas as well as research findings from all presenters. Also, it
provides the interdisciplinary forum for those involved to present and discuss
the most recent innovations, trends, concerns, practical challenges
encountered, and the solutions adopted in the field of English Language
Teaching, Literature, and Translation.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we express our thanks to Prof. Dr.


Fathur Rokhman, M.Hum. as the Rector of UNNES and Dr. Sri Rejeki Urip,
M.Hum. as the Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Arts for their support.

I would like also to thank and acknowledge all the delegates and the support
team who have worked hard to make this conference a truly successful one
like it has been in the last nine years. I request all the delegates and
participants to take part in all the activities that we have come up with for the
next two days. I wish everyone a successful and fruitful conference.
